I usually get all my questions answered on here. I had a BAD reaction to an enchalada last week so I have been scared to eat too much. I have been depressed since my surgery 4/11/12. I am slowly working through it though. I am in Heartland about 30 miles east of Dallas

I ended up eating blended soup the first week. I wish someone had set me down and said OK THIS IS GOUNG TO HAPPEN.. I went through True Results

Since I was self pay I felt like a head of cattle. Just take my money and move me along..... I may have jumped into this too soon. I needed to do this before I got any other Illness. I also needed to do this so I could be there for my kids. I did this cause I could eat a cheeseburger, french fries, salad, appetizer and thats alot of food.

I WENT THROUGH THE EXACT SAME THING!!!!!! I was depressed, sad, regretful!!!! I swear I thought I had an extreme case. Felt like post pardum depression. On my first fill they had some big wig in the room watching the staff. I made sure I mentioned the mental aspects and how no one warned me. (since I was self pay) Our car broke down and few other bills came up after my surgery s o I was full of regret. I swear it gets better. I promise. I am 5 1/2 weeks post op.

For the first 3 weeks after I was banded I went through a depression/ baby blues feeling. I had a hard time with the post op diet plus I had a sad feeling. I do not have a scale so I did not watch the pounds. I have lost 7 lbs post op. I am not worried about that as much as learning how to eat. Do not worry, in time it will come together.

I have been banded a momth. Had a painful time with a tortilla. Gave up bread. Use lettuce as bread on a sandwich. Dont give up. It will get better.

My hardest issue is chewing. I am not used to chewing my foods till they arw liquids. It has grossed me out some. Like someone said I find it easier to eat soup.

I had an incident with an enchalada. I ate it and I was sore for 2 days. I had my first fill and I have tried to eat very little. I got 1 cc. I just do not want to go through that. I am afraid my band will tighten anytime. Has anyone gone through this?

I went through True Results. Dr B did my surgery. One of the ladys in Dr B office is so rude. She could not wait to get me off the phone. I complained on her and will not deal with her. True Results nurse made me feel like a head of cattle. Wake em up get em out. I got so frustrated I went home before any one of the others. There are no medical staff in Dr B office. Just ladies who have had the surgery....
