Anyone from WI having surgery on or near Sept. 26 th.
-
My surgery is scheduled for sept. 26 th. And I am gettng a little nervous. (I am only nervous about one thing, being put to sleep)

I was told that it doesn't matter if you drink diet or regular soda the point is the carbination expands your stomach before and after the lap band surgery. I was told no carbinated beverages at all. and this was very difficult for me I loved my diet rite soda and crave it more than anything else.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am 10 days post op and can relate to the long process of jumping through all those hoops to get to the point of getting a date. I also know about the eating after I got my date. my mom and I ate out almost every day for lunch( the kids were in school) I had this thought that I need to eat everything that I wouldn't be able to eat again. And thank god I didnt gain anymore weight. soon you will be on the other side, and be on your way to a happier healthier you. good luck christina:cool: -

well i thought my nerves were out of control on monday but it being thursday (surgery fri 8 am) and having to meet with the doc assitant I am really nervous and a little upset. she gave me my results to my pre op testing my blood work was good. I have acid reflux(did not need a doc to tell me that haha) the also told me that i have a fatty liver and said it is very common in us people.(no offence anyone )the doc then told me that i would have to sign a concent form that if they were unable to get the band around (cuz of the fatty liver) the would have to open me up. vs laproscopically. and at that time they would take a by op of it. also im not one for hospitals (spent 5 weeks in the hospital b4 i had mt son) and to this day dont like them. the doctors office told me because of my insurance i would have to stay over night i really had my heart set on going home the same day.
