I have tried and tried to make, copy, and paste a weight loss ticker into my profile. I have had ZERO success! I have read and reread directions on how to do this, but there is something I'm not doing right. After working with this for over an hour, I need help. Can anyone out there give me some tips/help? Thanks!!

Just wanted to check in and do some reading for some ideas and tips. I love reading all the posts! I have LB surgery on April 16, 2012 and I have lost 22 pounds so far. I actually lost 18 pounds in my pre-op diet (10 days) before surgery. Since surgery, I've lost 4 more! So thrilled about my weight loss. My clothes are looser and I feel better about myself! So far everything has gone great! Just some soreness after surgery, but that is much better now. I have an appointment with my doctor May 2. Will keep everyone updated!

April Bandsters!
lltaylor_2003 replied to Moonlitedi's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
April 16th is the date of my banding!! Actually, it's the first day of my Spring Break. Yes, I am a teacher...no beach this Spring Breat for me! Love being in this group and learning all the different tips and suggestions everyone has to give! I start my liquid diet (10 days total) on April 6. First 7 days are liquids and last 3 days are Clear Liquids. I'm somewhat nervous about beginning the liquid diet. I've heard the first 3 days are the worse and if you can get over those, the last few days are not so bad. I may be doing alot of writing on here trying to occupy myself! Bandtastic - NO liquid diet??? By the way...I LOVE the tickers measuring weight loss. I went to Ticker Factory and made one, but I can't get it to post right. Can someone help me? -
Protiens 2 Weeks Before Surgery
lltaylor_2003 replied to Boniluuu's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I will be having surgery April 16, 2012. I have to do a liquid diet for 10 days....the first 7 days regular liquids (low fat/low sugar) and the last 3 days clear liquids. Being on a diet like this helps to "shrink" the liver in order for the doctor to have more room to work with in doing the lapband. I had to attend a nutrition class a few weeks ago and it explained my pre-op and post-op diet plans. Surely, you will attend a nutrition class or your doctor will talk to you about your diet. -
Hi everyone! I am new to this site so let me introduce myself. My name is Lisa and I live in a very rural part of the great state of Alabama .. Roll Tide!! I am 52 years old, have one daughter and one 2 year old grandson and expecting another grandson at the end of May! I am a teacher and will finish my 30th year in May. I am always had a weight problem. I joined Weight Watchers in the early 80's and have been a member off and on over the years. The program works, but my problem is and has always been keeping the weight off after I lose it! I am so hoping LapBand will fix that problem. I am scheduled for surgery on April 16th. My current weight is 270 and I am hoping to get below the 200 mark after surgery. Soooo....I am open to all tips, suggestions, and information I can get from you all. The biggest worry right now is the Pre Op diet. I will be on liquids for 7 days and Clear Liquids for 3 days before surgery. I need tips and suggestions of some good things to drink! Please send my way!! Thanks for any help you can give me. I'll keep you updated on my progress! Lisa
