  1. So I'm self pay and one friend said that getting a personal loan was cheaper with interest than the care credit anyone else out there finding the same thing my credit is great so I'm not worried about that just want to get the cheapest interest rate.
  2. So I don't actually start my ore-op diet until May 22 but I thought I better figure out what I like and don't like. I am finding that it won't be as bad as I thought I get to have 5 protien shakes or bars a day and one low cal low card meal. I ordered the sample packs of protien shakes from my bairiatric pantry so far they aren't that bad I wanted to try a bunch before really hitting it hard. You know in all the diets and the meeting Bout weight loss I've done the saying " food will never taste as good as THIN feels" well I'm ready to know that feeling. Here's to all of us that are tired of have to shop in the specialty stores ( aka fat girl stores) and here's to a new beginning and the ability to walk into a boutique and not only getting to look at shoes, jewelry and scarfs cause that's all we can fit into. I'm ready!!!

  6. I have my first consultation with Dr. Nick this Friday I will be self pay. After surgery how sore are you and when are you able to really function. I teach and I also have a 3 month at home so is this something a can do in a 3 day time span or would it be best to wait until school is out (2 months) for the 1st of the summer. I'm just anxious to begin my new life.
  7. Hi I'm a mother of 2 girls my youngest is almost 12 weeks old. I have been overweight all my life. I have tried every diet out there I'm doing wieght watchers for the third time. I jut can't get the weight off. I'm about to turn 34 and I want to live my life the way it should be lived. I had a friend that did the sleeve and she recommends it highly I want results and I like the idea of not having a foreign object in my body other than the staples so here is my story. I would love any feedback on things I should be asking and things maybe you where told or not told. Thanks for the help and insight.
  8. Ok how many of you went through insurance and how many we're self pay. I am just starting but I've heard people say it took so long waiting for insurance. Im one of those people that want instant gratification how long did it take your insurance? My bmi is 46.3 but I don't have diabetes or heart condition basically I'm pretty healthy for a fat girl. Will insurance pay. And any recommendations on drs in the Dallas ft worth area? Sorry so many questions
