Hi Kacee I was banded by Dr. Spivak On May 2 and it was so stress free. Mine was done at the surgery center. I went in at 8:30 and I was released by 11:30. He is such a wonderful person. He was the first face I saw besides the the recovery nurse when I firstwoke up. He was there waiting for me to wake up. I have a really great experience before and after surgery. YOU ARE IN SUCH GOOD HANDS:biggrin1: NO WORDS CAN REALLY DESCRIBE IT

That makes since to me because I think GBS is totally diffrent from what we have. So I'm thinking if you last that long Good but for me the hunger feeling is horrible so some protien shakes will defiently be a good idea. I don't know I guess you have to follow Dr.s order

I wonder why they said that because when I was waiting in recovery that's what they had me sitting in. And right now I've been sleeping in my lounge chair since I came home from the hospital. I hate but it's the only comfortable place for me right now. Because sleeping in the bed is unbearable

I guess I got lucky to only have to do liquids for 2 dys only.

Pghmomof3. My post op diet seemed alot diffrent from everyone elses. Because I had no pre-op diet. 24-48 of liquids after surgery. Then 4 weeks of mushies. And then back to the regular food.

I feel you on that phuber40. My fiance loves me BIG but he's finnally understanding it's for health reason and after its for vanity. But keep your head up because once it is all over he will love you just the same:girl_hug:

I MYSELF HAVE HAD A PRETTY GOOD DAY WAS ABLE TO GET OUT THE HOUSE AND GET MY HAIR DONE (YOU KNOW GIRL STUFF) FELT PRETTY GOOD LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK TO WORK TOMORROW SO THINGS CAN GET BACK TO NORMAL. AND SLOWLY I CAN START SHEDING THE POUNDS (lol)

hi I was banded on may 3 I guess my other post didn't make so that I could be added to the calender. but all is well it's been 4 days and I am a whole lot better. Keep this thread going it is wonderful.

Hi Rachelb123. I Was Banded By Dr Spivak On May 2 2007. He Was There Before Surgery. And He Was The First Face I Saw After I Woke Up. He Is A Really Good Surgeon And So Is The Staff. I Was Very Very Nervous But They Let You Know That I WOULD Be Fine And Everything Will Work Out Good Luck Keep It Touch:o -
