Why did you have to get the VG Band. Did your doctor explain that to you. Because when I was banded my doctor said he didn't have to use the bigger band he could use the regular band is VG Band the bigger band. And do you know the diffrence:confused:

I think you should listen to your body. It might be serious it might not. Either way get it checked -
Let them know that you need it for help reason. And that it's not as easy to diet when you can't seem to stick to it. It's a tool to help you with self restraint. And that's the bottom line.It's all about you and your happiness.

The same thing happen to me Friday. I got a bill from the doctor's office for the total amount of my surgery. The thing is I was self-pay and brought them a cashiers check for the whole amount. Some how it got lost and was suddenly found once I called about the bill. So maybe it's a mistake. Dont let that upset you:faint:

I wanted to share my good news with you guys. I walked a whole 2 miles today on the track. I 'm so proud of myself it's only been 2 weeks post-op and I wasn't sure I could make it but I did without a problem.

We have the same Dr and have had some chicken since being on mushies I just made sure I chewed it until it was mushie before I tried swallowing it. But it may be two soon for you to try this. Take your time

Yes eggs are considered to be mushies. I just suggest that you only do one scrambled egg.

You know we have the same surgeon I'm not sure but if we will be the same but the 2nd day was the worst for me. I could though drive on the 3rd drive with no problem. Hope this helps

I will say nothing works if you havent made up your mind that you are going to do what it takes to get it done. Even with Gastric Bypass it's no quick fix the wieght can come back. I just say do what's best for you that's all that matters:D -

I dont feel like you should not get lapband. Like I said I weighed 489lbs and I am currently 441 and just had surgery on the second. So you do what's best for you. At this point anything will help. PLEASE PLEASE BE POSITIVE AND KEEP YOUR HEAD UP. -
Hi Ladies. Texas is the Best. I live in Houston and was Banded by Dr.spivak on May 2 2007 So far I'm down 21lbs and counting Good Luck all new bandsters and upcoming bandsters. And Ladies Let's keep this thread going so we can really see how many of us are really on here
