Exercise has not been easy for me and I've been having a really hard time with it...well, today I started Couch to 5K!!! I did the whole workout... I feel so good and I'm proud that I was able to do the whole workout!!! I've also challenged myself to do 100 crunches a day and every week I'm going to add 100!! So far I'm 2 for 2!!!

I was told by my surgeon not to use a straw...I occasionally do but I've gotten to where I prefer not to!!

Be careful with turkey bacon!! It is extremely high in sodium!! Most cardiologists (at least the ones I work with) will tell you that if you're going to eat bacon you'd be better off eating regular bacon in moderation!!

Chewing enough and eating slowly have been my biggest issues!! I'm a nurse so I got into the habit of eating on the run so it has been really difficult for me to break out of that routine!! I've tried several different things to slow down my eating...can you give me some suggestions?

Sometimes I have to take a few sips when I eat because if food is too dry it gets stuck!! I'm assuming this is bad?!! Yes or no?
