Heya one proud papa March sleeved here. I've had plenty of lows but cruising along slowly. No weight loss since discharge from hospital was in 10 days and lost 8 kilos. Gone down 3 dress sizes though. How u doin.

Hi guys. Thanx for support and words of encouragement. New focus today. scales put in shed. Diarise everything I eat. Try drink more than a litre and walk walk walk. See doc week tomorrow so we will see if it works. Wish me luck.

Very interesting thread. I am currently sitting in the hospital emergency room. I have pain every single time I eat or drink anything. I am four weeks post op can only eat about 90g three times a day push Down a liter of fluid with pain and have lost nothing in three weeks and I am being told this is perfectly normal. Scared shitless and very dispondent is all I can say. Don't know what to do. Thankyou for your thread. I think I may be seeking a second opinion.

Hey Angela and nancy So glad to see I not only one not losing had op 22 march and in last two weeks lost nothing. I have trouble eating can only manage couple of spoons three times a day. Wondering if this is issue as walk everyday. Keep me posted how u are both going.

Had a really good run to start 10 kilos in 13 days. But for the last six nothing. Us this normal. Heart breaking considering what I just put my body through. I am suffering pain when I eat and can only manage two to three spoonfuls at any one time then I have to stop what I am doi g for an hour to allow my stomach to settle from the pain. Please has anyone got any ideas. I am off to doc tomorrow as very worried

Rosswife. So glad to hear I am not the only one. I am 19 days post and after every meal for about an hour and before bed and through the night I feel like I'm having a heart attack. It's awful. I am on ppi but am struggling to even eat two spoonfuls of food without incredible pain. Going to see doc tomorrow as quiet worried about this.

Guys can totally understand how excited u are. I ended up having to take last two days before surgery off work as I was talking about it so much that I was getting emotional. My partner was very supportive although he works away we made all or most appointments so that we could share the journey together. He is completely opposite to me. Mum refers to us as the nursery rhyme jack sprat could eat no fat his wife could eat no lean. Lol. But he had been there every step of the way. I spent a week on and off in hospital but with no major issues. Will be so good to listen to you all share you journey too. I am 12 days post sleeve and getting ready to go to purée stage. Wannabb08. I have had similar trouble to you. Ended up back in hospital 24 hours after release. Been here three days. Have an awesome doc who assures me everything is fine. That for the selected few of us our stomachs seem to go into shock and it can take alot longer to adjust to the surgery. I am sipping every few mins and have discovered dairy really upsets me. First night last night since surgery I actually slept almost normal and have woken feeling pretty well. Keep me posted how you travel. It's weird but good to know I am not the only one who is feeling so miserable after surgery. I know the light is at the end of the tunnel. Just have to keep walking in that direction Best of luck and support.

I had my vgs 6 days ago and was discharged yesterday from hospital. I am still having major trouble in drinking anything and have bad pain just under my breast bone. I am trying to keep up my liquids but can only manage about 600ml a day. Anyone got any suggestions.

Hey guys. Well day three in hospital. Slept well woke up feeling really good this morning. Took your advice and had clear soup for dinner. Managed 150ml. And no swollen belly or feeling sick. So all I can say is no more dairy for me. See how the day progresses maybe allowed home this Arvo.

Had my surgery in Bunbury wa. Day been ok. Just sipping room temp water all day. Tried some milk And a little ice cream at lunch. Ended up in agony and threw up. So just sticking to water at this stage. Going to try clear soup this evening.

Seen doc this am. He saying no leak all looks good. Just have to retrain stomach and mind to drink little bits regular. Another 24 hours observation see if can do 1.5 litters on own.

Thanks guys. Ended up in emergency room not long after posting this and doc has me back in hospital trying to work out if a possible leak as loads of pain and now sweats too.
