I totally agree. I think 30 lbs is too little weight to loose to do this...but from what i hear, it is not just too loose but to maintain. If u do get it..it will definately help in not gaining more later..and plus if u don't have a lot too loose now, u wont have the saggy skin like people with more too loose.

I want to get prepared for my post surgery.

I just thought about this. Why dont they tie it where they cut it instead of cutting it out permanently and then untie after goal is met so we dont become anorexic?

I would love to hear from people that have been sleeved for a long time..more than 3 years...and give us an update. Have you gained weight back? Have you gotten sick due to anemia or r u healthier than a horse? We want to hear from you.

Dont feel sad. I know u dont know me but u have to focus on your recovery. You r the most important part in your revovery. Use this time to take it easy. Watch some good movies. Read a book. Take long naps. Listen to your favorite music. Start a scrap book. Do things that make u happy.

Question for anyone with similar issues. I had lipo a long time ago on my stomach area so i never gained weight there but i did gain weight in my upper legs and butt. All my weight is there. Question....after weight loss...do upper legs and butt get saggy also? Sorry if it is a dumb question..i just want to be prepared.

I hear osteperosis can be an issue..does anyone regret their sleeve? Would like to hear from folks that have had their sleeve for a while..maybe more than 2 yrs.

I am the exact same way. I am only 60 to 70 pounds over weight and ii am alreay starting to feel guilty about this whole thing befor having surgery..i am starting to second guess because it is so permanent but the thought of just getting bigger and bigger makes me very sad. I have one son that is very over weight and i think in my mind i want to go thru this to see hoe it feels so that maybe i can help him also. He is only 14 and it breaks myy heart to see him like that. All my other kids have a good weight..so we will see. I cantt chicken out now. My surgery is scheduled for april 16.

Yes..it was fine...it was a vacation for me..excuse for a nice day off.
