Had a tummy tuck today, lipo of the flanks and a breast lift w implant. The worst part is the heartburn!! I have taken my prescription heartburn med and nothing. I have taken easily 20 tums and barely any relief. Now I took another heartburn pill and I'm hoping for this to work. Anyone know why? I have only had applesauce, canned peaches and crackers. Should I call the doc?

I had all the same as you are going for 3 weeks ago. I want to put up pictures but I cannot figure out how to blur out my nipples lol Anyway, a heating pad was my salvation for my back. I took the pain pills as I was told, but also took something to help to not bind me. Drink plenty if Water and just relax. You will be soooooo happy. Good luck!!

I have heard from a lot of people that if u wear a binder or garment like the one you would wear after plastic surgery that it can definitely help. The only catch is you have to wear it 23 hours out of the day and for 3 to 6 months. I have not tried this, however I work in a salon where all these girls I work with did this and their bodies are amazing!!

Just weighed myself bc my jeans don't fit. I gained 12lbs!!! I'm totally miserable. I know what I'm doing and can't believe that I am doing this to myself again. I'm going for a TT in 12 days. I have to get the bulk of this off. Back to basics? Or any suggestions??

The funny part is the doc gave me the fruit haha. Guess not too smart. I never thought I would be complaining about heartburn over everything else but everything else is definitely manageable

Everyone sharing their experience on here is great. Everyone's support and advice is and has helped me get back on track. I'm only down 2 of the 12 I put back on but I feel hope. This is a great page. Everyone is supportive and helps. One week away from my TT and hoping to at least get another 3lbs off. He said he going to me removing at least 10 to 15 pounds of fat and skin. This should get me to my exact goal if I can keep my mouth shut. But with that said I know I can do it. Thanks everyone for your support and advice =)

In 12 days I am going for my tummy tuck. I can't freakin wait. Anyway, I am going back to work exactly two weeks after I work as a manicurist/body Waxer. I have pedi's and leg waxes that day. Am I going to be pushing it?? I'm also having lipo of the flanks. Thanx in advance!!

After Obama care, good luck. I had everything set in place to get a tummy tuck and two weeks later the insurance reneged and gave some bs to me and the doc office. Not a happy camper

My plastic surgeons office first told me my insurance was covering a tummy tuck. Now they are not. I am beyond disappointed especially bc I made all the plans I got approved for 7500 care credit but the surgery is 10,400. I was thinking for that price should I just go else where and get it done. As of two days ago I found out my insurance is covering ALL of my plastics!!! I am getting a tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift w implants!!! All I had to pay was a 250 deductible. The only way my insurance would cover too if I maintained my weight loss for a year and I got 3 doctor letters saying they felt I needed it. The letters came from my sleeve surgeon, dermatologist and ob/gyn

I need everyone's honest opinion and any other advice or information you can share. I went to a plastic surgeon to discuss the procedures I need. Long story short, with insurance and every discount that they are willing to give me the surgeries come out to 14,000. My predicament is I don't have that kind of money. So, I now have an opportunity to make at least 8,000 dollars by donating my eggs My husband is not keen on the idea but is leaving it up to me. I truly feel fine going forth, but a few friends are saying no definitely not. I worked so hard to get healthy, now at 31 I want my body to look good. I'm beyond conflicted.....

Well, so far I am not a match with one company for egg donation. I hope I get a match soon.
