Hello everyone, I'm Carla new to the site and the surgery stuff. I have gone through just about all the stuff that you have to do before you have the surgery so insurance will pay for it. Spent lots of money and lot's of miles to get to all the different doc's I have to go to. WELL now our insurance company has changed and boom they say they don't cover this. I'm about ready scream right now. Can someone give me some advice, does the previous ins. company have to cover it? If there is no help how much does it cost out of pocket? Hello there, yes I'm from MN too. I live a couple hours away from the cities. I am or should I say was supposed to have surgery in Long Prairie MN. I just found out today after calling our NEW insurance company that they do not cover any bariatric surgerys. How ever you spell that word. Anyhow I have went through all the visit's with the therapists, Doc, dietician, sleep apena oh who else can't think right now I'm too mad. And in one call it's all over. So do you know how much it is and what I should do. Good luck to you all, Carla :think
