babygirl_sandy replied to babygirl_sandy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It depends how I'm feeling.. I could start my days and work my way up.. 8oz decaf instant sf coffee made with skim milk.. Egg and sliced turkey on one slice of rye toast with cheese Small Shrimp and chicken cubes with green Beans 12oz Protein shake with 60g protein made with skim milk and ice.. Greek yogurt Cottage cheese String cheese I measure everything and can only eat 2_3oz in one sitting but i take my time so I'm able to enjoy everything.. These are just some of the things that I'm eating now.. What i do make sure is getting in my 32oz of plain or flavored Water.. Sent from my SPH-D710 using VST -
I was sleeved Feb 25, 2013 and I have lost a total of 35lbs but thats not the most exiting part.. The lost of inches is more exiting than seeing the scale move..and these are the results after 7 weeks.. I hope this helps the newbies and anyone considering this surgery. It has changed my life.. Rocking the sh@t out of my sleeve..

Pre_op diet and how i keep myself from going crazy..
babygirl_sandy posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My pre_op consist of 4 to 5 Protein shakes that total 800 calories, broth, crystal light, Water, sf popsicles, sf Jello, sf tea, lettuce, bell peppers, onions, carrots with ff dressing.. This is what i did to get in my protein and water and not feel hungry.. This is my typical menu for the day.. 8@m Protein shake 9@m tea or crystal light or water 10@m protein shake 11@m popsicle or jello 12noon broth and salad w ff dressing 1pm tea, crystal light or water 2pm protein shake 3pm popsicle or jello 4pm crystal light or water 5pm broth and a salad w ff dressing 6pm crystal light or water 7pm protein shake 8_9pm clear water I hope this helps someone that has a similar pre_op diet every Dr is different. I enjoy structure and if you have a schedule you will start to train your mind for after surgery when you will have to drink every 15 min just to get your liquid intake for the day. Again not everyone is the same but by having my broth and a salad makes me Feel like I'm having a meal and not just liquids All day.. Sent from my SPH-D710 using VST -

So I was having a lot of problems getting in Protein with my other liquids so today I tried something new for me.. I took my G2 and mixed it with apple melon Isopure protein 1/2 & 1/2 and was able to sip on this all day and was able to drink 32oz in one bottle while having some protein.. I hope this helps.. Sleeved 2/25 the beginning of my New life.. Sent from my SPH-D710 using VST

The sippy cups help so you don't over do it and get that horrible feeling in your chest.. Hope that helps.. Sent from my SPH-D710 using VST

I've bought sippy cups and i put a timer on my phone for every fifteen minutes and I take three sips of liquid EVERY TIME.. I was able to get in 70oz in and I'm 5 days post op.. It was hard when i got home but just the thought of getting dehydrated and going to the ER was worst than trying this.. Good luck!! Sent from my SPH-D710 using VST
