  2. I would go to your doctor. I am way over a year out and I can not over eat. It's just physically impossible with my restriction.

    1st day out of hospital

Walking around your house will get rid of that gas. It's from the surgery. Just remember..better out than in lol. Congrats on your new sleeve.

    I hate skinny Beotchs

I don't have a weight problem anymore..160 pounds down since my sleeve 15 months ago. I'm a skinny b***h that is terrified to gain weight...but in my eyes I still see myself as that other person. My body lost the weight quicker than my mind could keep up. When you have your sleeve give it a few months and you will understand

    Pics of success

Thank you! I just want to let everyone who is going to have it done or who has had it done know that the end result is so worth it. It's not a piece of cake it's one of the hardest things I ever had to do but I can now say that food does not control my life, I control food, and that's a great feeling!
  7. March 21, 2012 Today... I love my sleeve! Best thing ever. Just wanted to post some pics to help the new sleeves see a light at the end of the tunnel.
  8. My surgery date was March 21, 2012....I have lost a total of 160 pounds!!! I just want to let everyone know don't get discouraged...this is the best thing I ever chose to do. It's hard at first but stay committed and make this a life style change. I love my sleeve.

    160 pounds GONE !

It can be done. Sorry it took me so long to respond. It has been about 15 months. I went through stalls and there was some months I would only lose a couple of pounds. Don't get discouraged, it's just your body catching up with the big changes we are putting it through. I watched everything I put in my mouth...and worked out. At this point I have 9 pounds left to lose and it's the hardest 9 pounds yet. I've been trying to get it off for about 2 months now but my body has stalled. I'm doing the insanity videos and they are very useful with toning, and hopefully dropping my last 9 pounds. Thank you guys for your words of encouragement!! Just remember you can do it and you will feel great at the end! Don't give up!!
  10. Don't compare your weight loss to others...everyone is different. You are losing so you are doing things correct. Congrats on your loss!!!
  11. I'm 6 months post op and I still feel like that
  12. Went through this same stall. It will pick back up and u will do great

    6Weeks In

I am 5 months out and this is your first of many stalls, trust me. I have lost 85 pounds n been stuck there for bout a week. It's just your body going into "starvation mode". It will store fat thinking that your starving because of your change in eating habits. It's super annoying, but part of it good luck on your journey, it's tough but wonderful

    Goodbye 75 Pounds :)

Stick with soft foods when cleared..mashed potatoes, applesauce, cottage cheese, soup. I would take it slow. You will know if u overdo it..you and the toilet bowl will become great friends I didn't eat crab legs until like 4-6 weeks post op. still have to be careful.

    Goodbye 75 Pounds :)

I don't dip my crab legs in anything. Just eat them plain..they taste awesome like that. I ate 1 pound of crab legs the other day when we went out. I was fine, other days 2-4 ounces per meal of food if I'm lucky. Like I said some days are good some are horrid. I don't get in much calories per day. I watch more my protein intake, still can not get the required amount in, but I try. I lost 40 pounds my first month. I was very sick after surgery, did not eat much till about month 2. I would recommend a gastric sleeve to anyone now..first couple of weeks were awful, but once u figure out how to eat and mentally make yourself right it is wonderful. Thank u all for the congrats..much appreciated. Just want to spread the good news to the new comers so they have something positive to look forward to with their new sleeves

    Goodbye 75 Pounds :)

Whatever I want really, I just know when to stop. No salad or red meats. I stay away from fattening foods. No sugar. Lots of fresh veggies. Crab legs is my favorite food. Some days I do better than others with food.
