I hate skinny Beotchs
AutumnPunkin replied to LI Gemini NY's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I am probably going to get flamed but I don't feel that we should judge these people as well. We get upset when people judge us, and they are no different. It doesn't matter how much you weigh, you are never satisfied, whether it is fast weight loss or not. Please do not mistake me, I understand your frustration, and you have every right to feel frustrate and angry, but it might be helpful to try to see things through her eyes. -

AutumnPunkin replied to AutumnPunkin's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Thank you for the offers. As it turna out, I have lost enough weight to wear my formal gown. It took nearly 30lbs to do it, buy I did it. Thanks -
I have a goal shirt. I ought it in 2001 when I tried losing my weight by myself. I fell in love with that shirt. Over a decade later, it still hangs in my closet, and i pray that I can wear it again some day.

Were/are any of you OBSESSED preop?
AutumnPunkin replied to Mrs.RRn's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have to wait so long because the surgeons in my area have a very long wait-list and I cannot afford to travel -

I am pre-op still unfortunately. As for style, I am looking for something relatively flattering, other than that.... Not too picky. I cannot wear colors that are earth-tone-like as it washes me out. I would prefer something at least knee length or longer. -

AutumnPunkin replied to Mrs.RRn's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am pretty much obsessed. It is all I have to get m through this since I have been on a wait list for 1.5 years and have another 1.5 years to get my initial consultation. Time waiting sucks.... -
We love to see before and afters, but i am bow wanting to hear about NSV's. we get so focused on the scales we lose sight of other victories. So tell me, what was you best NSV? I'll go first. I am pre-op but have 2 NSV's with my diet now 1. I can put my socks on without grunting 2. My engagement ring fits again! Your turn.... ????

That took a lot of courage to share with us and post. I am so proud of your accomplishments. But please don't be ashamed, you have worked so hard! I have to say though, that your surgery is medically necessary, and I stan behind you 100%, not that you need me too! You are so amazing to have come this far, that I am so glad you are not giving up. This was an amazing video and I applaud you on your courage and success!! -

Pear shaped vs Apple shaped?
AutumnPunkin replied to Afrodite82's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am a pear as well. I am still a c cup up top, but i am noticing as i gain weight, it is now going onto my belly. I have always had a smaller bust, and an even smaller waist, and a gazunga booty. I am reaching 320lbs now at 5'6" and my belly is gaining all the weight. In proportion though, my bust and waist is still tinier. My bust is 15" smaller than my hips and my waist is 20" smaller than my hips. I am really curious to see the results of this thread. I often wonder how little bust i will have left after i get the surgery. Unfortunately i am wait listed for another year and a half. . -
I am currently pre-op and am beginning my resolution of personal wellness. This includes spiritual and physical. I have made an initial goal to go to the gym tuesdays and wednesdays. At the end of the month, i want to reward myself for going twice a week. Since our goal is to avoid food rewards, i was curious as to how you reward yourself. My 100lb goal after surgery, hopefully 50 pre-surgery is to go zip lining. But my monthly goals need to me small and fairly inexpensive. So, whats your reward?

Afraid i wont be "granted" a sleeve
AutumnPunkin replied to AutumnPunkin's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you both for the kind words. I am being really strong considering, and his illness has confirmed that i really want to live my life too. I feel that my weight has trapped me so much, and like so many, a sleeve would really give both of us our life back. I fear that if i have to wait another year i will become so depressed. I still have so much life in me, i would hate for that life to get sucked out of me. After all, i am only 28. -
Afraid i wont be "granted" a sleeve
AutumnPunkin posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello, my apologies... And little "ranty" So this has been on my mind lately. I am coming up to my year plus wait list time and am almost there to meet with my surgeon. They have a lot of programs people hVe to do to be granted acceptance into being able to have their surgery. I am a full time nursing student, i work part time and i am with my husband during his chemotherapy, driving to and fro. I worry that because i did not do these classes 2 hours away that he will not even look at me. I fear that he may not think i am worthy of getting the surgery soon. Since my referral was made i gained 24 lbs last year, while yo yo dieting. My menses have been incredibly irregular and i fear i have pcos. I don't know how i can convince my doctor to let me have the surgery. -
