I was just banded on Friday. I made my mother give me a cigarette when I got home and have had a couple since then. I noticed it feels odd to inhale but it doesn't cause me any pain. I was smoking since I was 14 years old (I'm 25 now) and I was able to quit with chantix. I do occasionally have a cigarette but I think that's a hell of a lot better than the pack a day I used to go thru! -

I was also banded on Friday. But I came home the same night. It was so hard to sleep!! -
Anyone have any idea how long I will have to wait To get approval from my insurance company? I submitted everything they asked for yesterday and was hoping someone can give me an estimate of how long it takes for blue cross blue shield to make a decision.

Hello everyone. So my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at 1030 but since I have absolutely no luck I got my period today. Is that going to affect the surgery at all??

I'm enjoying my first protein shake now. Compared to the jello and broth it's amazing and I'm feeling better already. Maybe I misunderstood my doc about what to eat and when so when I call to make my appointment I will be sure to ask them. Thank you guys so much for your input...this is much harder than I thought it was going to be but I plan on staying strong! -
