Morning everyone I don't see what the difference is about the monthly thread, unless it is a place to meet people. I thought the point of it was to keep the threads down to a reasonable size and having a new one monthly. I think it is just to put it in a central location and easier to find. Maybe we can just have them move our thread there, or we can have it renamed in there and move there... or we can just keep it simple for our violets who we love but only have time to check in from time to time. ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE????? I am off to the gym. Have not been there since Friday. They are opening a Fuddruckers up here, I only know what they are because of going down south lots, so going to apply for bartending job there. I really hope to hear about the other place this week, I really want that.

Pamela don't be sad. I guess they picked 3-4 random people from each HUGE group to see if it is something people would be interested in. I don't see how it is going to be any different. Go to the main page and there is a Sub thread called monthly... and then each month is in there. I am confused - but that doesn't take much these days

I just found a pm asking me about it. Only went to a few in the group I guess. I have not had 5 mins to do anything with it but I guess a decision was made. Let me see if I can find out more details and I'll post. Me.... well 0 fills ... I just ate 2 chicken tenders and 1 cup of lettuce. I guess that is not a horrible amount but to me it seems like a ton. today was a bad eating day, can't wait to get back to the gym tomorrow

Morning everyone! and Happy Father's day, yes, I am telling all you ladies, I do the work of both so I like to wish everyone hppy fathers day Sara - so nice to have you back, we missed you Hair loss - I have lots of hair loss, I don't know what is normal and what is not because I'm always loosing tons. It goes in spells and always has, but this week is a spell. I loose so much and most of it seems to be from underneath. how can i tell? I have brown on top and a layer of true black underneath, and everything that seems to fall out is black. I hope that doesn't get much worse, it already is making me slighly crazy.

Ok ladies. .... So ... I just spent the am in the bathroom. I have not had fibersure in 3 days, it was not working, but.... here is a question... does anyone know if crystal light has sugar alcohol? The only thing I have done different 2 times, the 1st being when i started fibersure, and the 2nd being yesterday afternoon because I ust got more was drinking tons of crystal light rasp green tea to go packs. And when I say tons, I am talking about 80oz a day. I couldn't even eat more than a few bites of my eggs this am because i felt like i was going to die, and had a green tea on my way out this am. I know... TMI.... but I don't understand why i'm not working right! off to lie in the sun, mower is dead as a doornail!

TracyK I use to eat 8 cherry prunes a day. they are actually pretty good. but I can't do the regular ones and can't find the cherry ones. I just don't know what to do but have to do something monday when I'm home all day. well off to breakfast, maybe eggs cooked in butter will help. LOL then to they Y - then to try to get the lawn mowed - then off the the pizza shop

Laura you are doing so great! Look at all you gals from VA - I'll have people to visit and an excuse to get back down there! 15 years ago dbf and I spent 3 weeks on the Navy base for his stuff and I loved it and went every year until about 5 years ago. Now all my travel seems to be myrtle beach to see my family. I am going to the gym shortly - need to get caught up from this weeks job search, I need to kick it up again so on a more personal note... the fibersure is not working like I would like it too. I am about to resort to my cleansing tea or sugar free jelly bellys to get things working again. it has been 5 days... and I wonder why I've gained 4lbs the last few days... and I feel so bloated!!!! HELP any suggestions, I don't want to get into bad habbits

I went to my Dr. last week for a fill appt. I lost 7 lbs in a week after being stuck forever, of course at my appt. so he would not give me a fill. Said 30lbs in 8 weeks is fantastic and I was not eating too much so he wanted to wait, so July 17 is my first fill, unless I loose a bunch more.

YES!!! I have it from time to time, and after working extra hard at the gym It is very sore. I am sure it is pulling muscle good for you. I am out of control, still bouncing from 225-226 but so busy this week I am not doing as well as I should be.

Terry glad you had a great day! I won't hear until next week, but cross them, I love these people, and it is where I would be happiest working. I am off to meet my friend for breakfast, so want some eggs, and then to Walmart to get some storage totes and then the gym... then back home by noon to clean and mow the lawn before I have to go to my bartending class tonight, tomorrow and sat work and I'm taking my kids to six flags for father's day - we have a ton of free passes. I'll check in later, busy week.. or 2

Thanks DynamoMini You are all right and it most definately is "not the easy way out" I go to the gym 5 days a week and some days almost feel like I'm going to pass out from lack of something (yes, my Dr. is trying to figure out what that something is), but it is anything but easy. It is just so frustrating. I do have a handful of very true friends who have backed off to not tempt me, but who I talk to every single day of my life and who tell me how proud they are of me. So... screw everyone else right?

Night everyone I hope you all have a good night Tracy - can't wait to see your perm. You guys crack me up... I don't remember who said it, but I won't make that mistake ever again either! LOL I have wavy hair, ringlets in some places so I thought I would get a spiral to get them all uniform ... .BAD MOVE My long hair was curled so tight it was up to mid neck and never went away. Whenever i get in a curly hair mood, I get out my hot curlers and it quickly reminds me how my hair takes to curls. my poor daughter has my hair, even more so since she got her period a couple months ago. she loves it, but that won't last long when she can't do anything with that mess.

I am so glad I found this. I am reading post by post. I have lost a very close friend and neighbor, along with a few of my other neighbors who absolutely refuse to talk to me. Before surgery, everyone was so very supportive of my decision, tried to not tempt me to eat pre-op and helped with my kids. I got home from the hospital and they started to stay away, so they wouldn't tempt me to eat or make it difficult on me. I was 2 weeks into mushies - which for me was soft food and not full liquids - and they didn't even know it. They won't even look at me, not one comment from a single one about my weight loss, nothing. The other day I got a happy meal for my son and when I pulled up to the house, they looked at me, no hello, nothing, just oh... McDonalds? what is that all about? So because I'm not eating it I can't get my 3 year old a treat? It is just insane and I'm so hurt by it all. The worst thing is they are my neighbors, so when I walk out my door they just give me nasty looks. It hurts, but here is my thought... I did nothing wrong ... I did nothing to them, all I am doing is trying to better myself, improve myself, and get rid of some excess weight. I am not going to apologize for nothing, which is hard for me, but the extensive therapy I've been going to has helped me with that. It is just so horrible, and there is not much time in a day where I don't think about how they treat me. I look forward to reading all the pages here

Hey Jen Welcome and congrats on the fantastic weight loss. You should go to the shrinking violets page, i think it is in the general information part, I usually just go to it from emails, but it is on the first page there. It is full of a bunch of us who had surgery in April and we/they are a fantastic support group. someone recently posted instructions on how to do the ticker too. Did you go to tickerfactory.com? when you get your ticker set up copy the entire link and paste it to your signature here and when you refresh it should pop up. I hope you check out the shrinking violets - we would love to have you join us

Hello everyone first of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERRY!!!!!!! Job interview went great, this is perfect, I know, they are all perfect but I will be sad if I don't get it, the owners are so wonderful and they loved me from the second I walked in the door. Good pay, and did I mention I loved them. Keep your fingers crossed, I'll know for sure next week

Michelle - yes, nice to hear but I have to tell you, after hovering for 4 weeks not loosing an ounce, it was frustrating that I lost 6lbs since friday when I've been waitinig for a fill. I can drink a gallong of water without a problem. LOL So I'm watching the today show, all about that ALLI pill. They are doing a great thing with it, telling people about the side affects and how it needs to be use intead of just doing a commercial saying it will make you thin. They are also saying get off you butt and exercise. LOL something we all know anyway... any thoughts on this stuff????? topic of today LOL

Morning everyone KAT - my thoughts and prayers are with you and Rick today I had to laugh a little about the little one, I know it is not funny but I can just see it. MY 3 year old is out of control with jumping and we spend lots of time in time out to get up and start all over. My boy is 40lbs and I always thing that is what keeps him from getting very hurt - i'm usually having a stroke watching him LOL keep us posted. HUGS mmmmmmmmmmm Tequlia... I love that stuff but not a sip of anything for 8 weeks. I am going to hold out as long as i can. It is beautiful here today, or suppose to be anyway- i'm going on my interview, and going to mow part of my back yard and take a nap in the sun! Must hit the gym today too. This is an absoutely crazy couple of weeks and things are getting out of control here.

Hello all So I survived day 2 of bartending class. - and amazingly I'm still awake. I miss my kids and my hous is a mess. So... here goes, I was offered a server position at the Crowne Plaza, the only Hotel in downtown Albany, and where all the performers stay who are in concert here... Please tell me with my great personality why I would not pick up a couple of days? I have bartending interview at 9:30 tomorrow am - that should be fun early in the am. This is my week, something great is going to come along! So, went to Dr. today too, and guess what ... NO FILL.... We laughted and joked around but he told me I was doing fantastic, eating exactally what he wanted me to and averaging 3lbs a week and he would like to hold off on the fill. I think I'm going to be like Kat, I recently saw her say she has only had 2 fills. My Dr said some people never need any. It did feel great to have his stamp of approval of me and my progress. He is very strict and I am his "perfect - lapband cheerleader" yes, that is what I have been called in there. He does not like to band just anyone and he told me he made a great call with me. So...........off to the gym after my interview.

Morning Violets Well I don't know how but I am up and showered and ready to leave again in about 30 mins.. Reached my first mini goal this am! What a great feeling. Anyway, so very tired and have to go until midnight again tonight and have an interview at 9am tomorrow too. I think I'm going to take a great nap tomorrow LOL

hey everyone. I had a fantastic day I got a call from a high class hotel I applied for a bartending job at and have an interview tomorrow. Then I went to lunch with some friends, had 1/4 cup of tuna, I could not eat anymore, and ran into a co-worker I have not seen since the fall, HE DIDN'T RECOGNIZE ME!!!! HOW ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC IS THAT. He told me he said could not be me then when he saw me again had to come see if it was, he was amazed, told me how fantastic I look and we actually chatted for a long time. Just friends, but boy did it feel great for a guy to say all that great stuff. I am just getting home from bartending class. All I can say is OMG, on one hand what did I get myself into, on the other, there is no way I could do this without taking the course!!!!! We are going to learn 100 drinks by next thursday.... YIKES Keep your fingers crossed. OH I also have 2 more job interviews this week 3 in total, 2 bartending and 1 doing mortgages, which i swore I would never do again, but if they pay me what I was making, I might take it to get caught up. I doubt they are going to offer me what I was making so i don't have to worry about getting back into that nightmare! anyway, i hope everyone is having a good night. I'm off to pass out so I can get up and do it all over tomorrow. Tomorrow is fill day, keep your fingers crossed for me!

sorry girls... just need to say, yes, still with dbf, love him with all my heart and soul but I don't know if he can ever give me 100% of what I want.. and I'm not getting any younger! that is for sure
