Thank you Mark. Such a nice thing to say. Good luck with your surgery. I'm sure you will do awesome! -
You WILL lose. I promise. Your body is just adjusting. I lost 50 pounds in 6 weeks I think. Not for sure until I look at my tickler but don't fret because it will come off. No way it can stay on. We just go through these stalls because our body had to adjust to all that has happened. It is in survival mode right now. You are doing all the right things it seems from your post. Congratulations on being sleeved. You have a wonderful journey ahead of you. Just relax and enjoy the ride!

Official One Year Before & After Pic. Down 120 Pounds.
Lisa's Hope posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Tomorrow is my official one year anniversary. This time last year I was so scared and excited about the surgery that was to happen the next morning. I remember the 1 hour drive to the hospital. I was so sick, miserable, and huge at that time and I knew I had to do this to get my life back. I knew that when I went through the surgery room doors, there would be no turning back. When I awoke, I had pain and thought to myself "what in the world have I done". I was so thirsty and had so much stuff hooked to me. I had a pain pump catheter that was dispensing pain meds straight to my new tummy. By the afternoon, I was walking around and the next morning, I was ready to come home. I was suppose to stay one more day but I wanted to leave and so I did. When I got home... OH my goodness, I was in such pain!! Once I got my meds, I was fine though. Recovery went slow for me but I didn't have any major complications. Thank the good Lord! I would do it again and I'm so glad that God helped me through this and I had faith to just trust Him. As of today, I am down 120 pounds and am 20 pounds from goal. I started at a size 24/26 and am now a 10/12. The jeans I have on in the pic are 10's but they are so tight!! LOL To all the new people that are thinking about having the sleeve. Just know that it is all worth it but it isn't easy. At least for me it wasn't. Now I'm working on the last 20 pounds and it is so hard to get the scale to move. I know that I will make it though. It may take 6 more months, but it will happen. I'm so grateful for this forum. Thanks to all of you that always post wonderful compliments on my post!! It has been a great journey and I'm so thankful! -
Stall or new weight body set point? Latest Pics!
Lisa's Hope posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Whatever it is, I'm ready to start losing again. I had gotten 20 pounds from my goal and now I'm 25~! Ugghhhhh I'm so ready to get this last 25 pounds of weight off and meet my goal. I'm 13 months out and haven't lost anything in 2 months! I know I'm not following my diet like I'm supposed to. I know what I need to do but I feel old habits creeping back into my life!! Sweets!!! It is so easy to eat them and they go down so well with no restriction. I'm scared! I'm scared I may gain back everything I've lost which is 115 pounds. It was 120 but I've gained 5 pounds. I just have to get a hold on this and get back on track. I can't go back. I just can't!!!! I know what I need to do, I just needed to vent. I've not been drinking enough Water or getting enough Protein in. I've been suffering with low blood pressure to for a few weeks. I know it is from not drinking enough or taking care of myself. Why oh WHY would I want to go back to bad habits and not take care of myself?? I don't know. When I look at the pics I've attached. I know I've lost but I'm not satisfied. I want more! I want to make my goal!! -

Hi, At 6 months I had lost 84 pounds. The weight starts to slow the further out you get but I wouldn't have EVER been able to lose 118 pounds in a year without the sleeve! -

Hey, It is ok. Don't mind questions! That is what we are here for. I don't exercise that much! I'm embarrassed to say. I do walk like three to four times a week. I still stay away from carbs as much as possible. I still drink Protein shakes once or twice a day just because I love them. The myoplex lite are awesome from Walmart. I also still eat chicken, tuna, fish, turkey, cheese, yogurt and most of the stuff I had right in the beginning. I try to stay away from slider foods. Sweets is my downfall. I love them but I get kind of queasy if I eat them. So really nothing too extreme for me. -

I posted these last month but I will post again. Down 117 pounds. Sleeveversary on 5/21 -
I remember being where you are this time last year. My one year sleeversary is on May 21st and I've lost 117 pounds. I was so scared. I remember wanting to back out but I had prayed and ask God to free me from the fat prison I had been in most of my life. I would lose and gain it right back. I mean, I really lost a lot of weight throughout my life. Fifty pounds here, 90 pounds there, then 75... only to put it back on. I just decided to go for it. I thought, well... if I can get myself to the hospital and get back to surgery that is it! Thats exactly what I did. I knew when I went through those doors to surgery, there wasn't any turning back. You will do fine. I can't say I didn't have some hard days after. I'm older and my recovery was a little harder but I made it and I'm glad I did it! God bless!

11 Months Post OP and Down 116 Pounds.
Lisa's Hope posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Hi Everyone! It is my 11 month surgeversary tomorrow so I thought I would post my progress pics. I am down 116 pounds and have 25 more to go to goal. The absolute best thing I could have done for myself. I am not the same person at all. I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with how I look on the outside. I still feel the same on the inside. Well... happier of course but still the same person! I hope to lose 5 more pounds before my 1 year. Then I will have only 20 to goal. I have to say, I didn't think I would get this close!!! It has been an amazing journey. I had to have my gallbladder taken out 3 weeks ago, but all is well! -

Yes, it did. I was fine at surgery. I asked my surgeon to take it out when he did the sleeve but he said i t was fine. 10 months of losing weight so fast I guess. It was worth it though. -
