K, so first time since my surgery in march I sat down and ate supper. After supper I wanted more so I ate a bit more. Now I have this massive pain in my left ribs and I can't breathe......what did I do?

Hey everyone ! I was banded march 19 2012. Yes just 4 days ago. There was no complications, it went great. Got to go home the next day. This is day 2 at home. So far so good. Gas pain is the worst. I am actualy having trouble tAking deep breaths. Anyone else? It hurts in my stomach and my chest. Also I am having trouble w my vitamins. Any suggestions? I am taking gummy and chewing really good but still feeling pressure.... Any advice would b great!

Well I got my first fill 2 weeks ago. Get my second on Monday. So far, all together I have lost 21lbs! I feel awesome!

I go in for my first fill today. Excited! Extremely! Because since I have been eating solids for what seems like forever I haven't lost more than 17 lbs. I have also been workkng out at the gym doing weight circuit. Could this be why i dot seem to be losig? But on a side note.....I have had a non-scale victory. A ring that I have wore everyday for the last 9 years had went missing when we moved. This ring was getting very snug the last year or so and my boyfriend found it yesterday! Well, when I went to put it on it slipped right back off! I am sad because I can't wear it but so happy it is too big! Woohoo. Anyone else have a non-scale victory.

Culd u help me. I've been on solids for like 4 days now. I am too hungry and cant do it! I am only 2 weeks post op

I'm so proud of everyone. U guys r doing much better than me. I have been on solids for like 4 days. Nothing is getting stuck and I'm hungry a lot! Help!

So I just wanted to clarify some stuff. I am not now or was I cheating. I tried a couple of things to c If I culd. If we don't try how r we to know? Like today. I stuck to my liquids but I tried some turkey lunch meat and it went fine. For supper w my cheddar cheese soup I also tried a scrambled egg, again no complications. Little at a time so whe. Next week rolls around I know what will work and what won't.

Got back from hospital. Incisions r fine. Guess the one that was red now is a massive bruise. Had a lot of gas in lower stomach and band was not letting it thru. So all is well. I even had itsy burst bites of taco steak last night and got it down w no problems. As well as popcorn at the movie! Yeah me! It felt so good.

Gas pains. Walk a lot and get gas-x strips. They helped a lot. I'm still sore 6 days later

So my incisions are all doing great except my one incision where my port is a bit more red and warm. The breathing seems to be getting a little harder as well......

Gas x strips work! I took two and started burping up a storm. Those will help with gas. I got smart smoothies from complete nutrition the chocolate mint tastes just like mint chic chip ice cream.

I had my surgery on Monday as well. Crazy how many people had it on the same day. I stil have gas pains. In the shoulders and neck. Walking And gas-x strips help. I also have gummy multi vitMins and calciums. Hard to get Down but I can't find liquid where Iive. I also have to take 5000iu of Vitamin d. That pill is small enough that I can tKe it. It gets stuck but it releAses. We should form a group those of us from Monday surgery.

Thanks for that. I am trying to move around as much as possible. I can't find liquid Vitamins anywhere. I'll just stick thru it. (no pun intended) haha. Any advice on the breathing. Dr thinks it's gas but it is so uncomfortBle.
