  1. A lot of cuss words in that message.. hehe jk
  2. Crap I meant to ask how much are you eating, and not what. Like how many ounces of each and in total daily.
  3. Any of your friends ever got mad, or just plain didn't like the idea you either lost weight or intending on getting the surgery mainly for the reason that you would be smaller in size?

Digital Food Scale.. Is It Worth It?

Ok thanks all. I wanted one a long time ago. I have an analog one but it is a two piece setup. Digital is soo much easier. Who knows though. If I can find I might use.
  5. All of the paperwork were given on Monday (hopefully) so I wanted to see if my surgery was approved. I called them up and they said only the doctor would know. Is yours the same? I find that so strange. When should I call them up?
  6. I noticed it varies dramatically, but I am curious.
  7. Ok I will try the saltines. I don't eat beef so no has for me. I eat the soy ground beef. Real yummy.
  8. What are all the foods and food ideas for the mushie stage? Thanks, I will be taking notes

    July Sleevers?

It's getting closer for me. Surgery is Monday.
  10. Mmmmm.. string cheese. It's more having a texture that I miss than any particular item, but definitely going to play it slow.
  11. OMG You dont know how good hummus and crackers sounded although I might avoid the crackers. I'm pre op (surgery on Monday) and just wondering what/when everyone is eating. On my surgeons website mushies are allowed between two weeks and six weeks. I am sure that means it varies for each but as soon as I can on week two I will try it out or wait, depending on how I feel.

My Insurance Wont Tell Me If I'm Approved Is Yours The Same?

Well I called again and spoke to someone else. They gave me the right answers. I was approved.
  13. Besides finding a workout partner that has had weightloss surgery you need true people on your side that won't hate on you or have anything negative to say.
  14. I'm on day one of my pre-op liquid diet and I want to know to know after how many weeks whether if you started way before surgery or after did just liquids alone become easier. Btw I know I can have SF jello in the clear stage after surgery, but in the preop liquid phase do you know if I can have it now, including yogurt. I forgot to ask my surgeon.. Darn!

    Moms With Young Children....

My question is how long was it until you can lift them in/out of the crib? Looks like he will be sleeping in my bed until I can lift. Anyone remember the rule on when you can lift. My LO is 33 lbs, almost two.
  16. Wow Lissa, your SIL is a B**ch, point blank.
  17. Id like to know how much did you lose at six months? I am noticing a trend. You can add other stats if you like. Is the average ten pounds a month? If not what is?
  18. I decided mixing it up would help this liquid diet stage be bearable so I decided to buy some chicken soup protein mixes. Besides unjury what else do you know of and where can I get them for cheap? I am also looking to get unjury cheap as well.
  19. Thanks. I ended up buying from the bariatric food source. They had a flat rate.

    Isopure On Sale C:

I too want to know where?
  21. Do you know how much shipping is, because I dont feel like created a profile if its like 10 for shipping. I saw these on Amazon its a bit more though.
  22. No, implants for me. I don't want anything I have to remove later.
  23. Did your breasts maintain the shape you had after weight loss? I've been looking into a reduction with a lift, and I dont want to wait until goal (in about a year to year in a half.) I want to start the process maybe a few months after surgery after about 60 to 80 lbs. I want to hear from women that has had lifts/reductions in the recent past, that started their sleeve journey between 250-300 lbs and has lost 80 to 150 pounds. I want to know if you had major sagginess, etc. Do you see yourself needed another lift or are your boobs still in shape? I was reading about breast reduction and the two types of breast tissue, the fattier tissue, which weighs less than the more dense tissue. As I would imagine the fattier breasts would become smaller during the weight loss process than a woman with more dense tissue. But thats just my own theory.
  24. For the women who had perky, close to perky breasts naturally or after a deduction especially, did you lose volume as well as go down a size? I'm eyeballing a boob job but not sure if I want to wait until near goal, but still want to have some breast when at goal.
