Does everyone have to inject blood thinners into themselves after surgery? I can't even remove a splinter from my toe without it being a show.

Well I didn't ask the person, but it seems that water tastes different, so I am assuming that's what they meant. I don't know.

My doctor just offered removal of it. They only suggested heat compress. I'm thankful to my change in diet because they are not as bad. Weird thing is after pregnancy they got ten times worst, and were coming more often. After becoming a vegeterian, they don't come as often, but the pain is still an issue. I'm thankful though that it is in one particular place that is painful. In a nutshell weightloss is the only thing that is going to stop them from coming permanently, I would hope. I eventually learned that skinny people get them too. I thought all this tiime that I was the only person afflicted. Thanks for your thoughts.

What would you do? I do not know how to even start the process of getting a loan, but I am intrigued on the idea. How long would I have to pay it back? Is that determined while applying for the loan? Like others have said the six months might just fly by, but the idea is in my head.I do want to get braces so I can just do the six months and if I do get a loan use it towards braces.

I can sleep sideways. I learned that after having my son. Belly sleeping was uncomfy. I am just curious as to if there are monitors on me in a way that I cannot sleep on my tummy or at least a side. I remember when I was in the hospital with my son those beds were in that elevated position. I mean I could sleep, but it was like sleeping in a chair. I would assume it's only for one night and it's a breeze. I'm going to google to see if I can get anything. Thanks PP. If my nutritionist can give me a free gym membership with babysitting, I could lose all the wait they want. Lol.

I originally wanted a tattoo in a spot where there are strechmarks, but after googling that topic the mentioned trying a lasering of the marks, as well as microdermabrasion, and something including a blue light. Anyone try this and have been successful? I have old stretchmarks and I know that makes a difference in some treatments.

How much was it? Do they charge by the amount of time spent/size? I have a bunch.

You are so right about leggings. They grow and shrink with you. I think once I hit onederland, I'll buy some xl shirts, and some 12's and buy from goodwill ever even number size down in pants. I don't mind a little baggy. My goal is a 4/6. Hot topic is cool. I bought a cute hoody from them in XXL when I was 200 lbs. It was pink and had ears. I love it. It's still their waitng for me.

I'm looking for someone that started out near my weight that is a size 4 or 6 now. I would like to know how much weight did you lose to get to that size? With all the new vanity sizing it gets confusing, so I guess I'm looking for someone that is a H&M or banana Republic 4/6. I know everyone is different, and there are different factors including muscle composition, frame size ' I am also looking to friend or follow someones blog that either just started their journey, just had their surgery, or months out that was similar in weight. I like watching (if vlogging) or getting information from people that started out similar to my size. I'd say that I have a medium or large frame naturally. At 192, I was a size 14 in torrid jeans, and a 1X in torrid tops (I have a large chest.) 285 is my current, and my surgery is in July so I know I will be lighter by July. I'm glad I have a bunch of smaller clothes to last me until I am a 14/1X. I am currently a 24/3x or 4x depending upon brands. It's a good thing I have an idea my size at a particular weight so once I am there I will start buying smaller sizes. I am so going to be a goodwill girl. The prices are pretty good.

I have to get a thyroid ultrasound. Not related to the weight loss appointments. I want to know what happens? Am I put to lay down? Is it something quick? I ask because I have no sitter as yet, but tons of appoinments. I'm trying to get all appointments on the same day so I can have my uncle watch my son. Although I still have to call this local daycare for rates. I've taken my son with my to the doctor for regular stuff, but this is new stuff and I don't want him unattended if the process is long. I asked my friend what it was and about the process, and with her endoscopy they put her under. She couldnt really explain everything to me clearly. I could call the office, but the woman who answered, her English was not that too good. What happens during an endoscopy? How long is it? Thanks in advance.

I already started my journey, and it is covered under my insurance. Just have to wait until July.

No comorbities, but I decided that I want the surgery because I want more of a life. I'd be happy at 190, but more happy between 120 and 140. I'm currently 285, and 5'6. I was 300 about seven months ago. I gained weight after pregnancy. Now I just want to do things like riding a ride and not worrying about fitting. A reason I have stayed away from rides. I want to be liberated out of this fat suit, and enjoy my young life, and have triple the amount of energy to chase an infant.

I don't know if they wait until the last day of my sixth month appointment but I was told to make an appointment two weeks before surgery so I can have an idea what to do for the actual day, i.e. wash with antibacterial soap, etc. My surgery is suppose to be in July. When did you guys get a date?

I will be having my consult on Tuesday. I will make the appointment for April were my aunt can come with.

Would I be that out of it I can't take public transport?

PACU? They didn't tell me anything about having an adult with me. Ugh! I wonder if I can get it scheduled on a Saturday? Hmmm..
