Did You Have To Get Buck Naked For The Operation? Or Could You Wear Under Ware?
Kiki Von Moonshine replied to sarah nelson's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Lol at penis growing out of your vagina. That would be interesting. I had my clitoris hood pierced when I had my son via c section. -

I too was nervous about being naked, but if you gotta do what you gotta do, you do it. I've even thought about cutting a whole in my undies for the cath. Haha. Like someone has said, they see it all. -

Post Opers Over A Year: How Much Ounces Of Water Can You Drink In One Time?
Kiki Von Moonshine replied to Kiki Von Moonshine's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's good to hear your responses, because this was a big issue for me in my head. I have to still practice to drink more throughout the day, but have been known to wait until I am thirsty then guzzle my water down. I'm trying to retrain myself in regards to my water intake. -

I'd like to know how much water you can drink in one sitting, and how much water do you drink before, during, and after an intense workout? This is one part of the surgery that I think might get to me. When I work out hard, I'm thirsty, and then I wonder... What now? -

Oh, okay thanks. I thought I could only drink like 2 oz and I was like OMG, I'm going to be so thirsty and uncomfortable! Lol. -
Should I Lose Before Surgery Or Not?
Kiki Von Moonshine posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Okay, so my goal was to lose at least twenty pounds by surgery time in July. Now I'm 280, and I thought it would be a good idea to lose so there would be less to lose after surgery. I see that you lose a little slower being a smaller starting weight. Disclaimer: I know everyone is different, and weight loss varies. I also notice that within the first six months seems to be the biggest months for loss. I still plan on getting my bike and losing weight but do you think starting bigger will result in a faster weight loss at the start? -
Should I Lose Before Surgery Or Not?
Kiki Von Moonshine replied to Kiki Von Moonshine's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Good to know. But I'm curious as to why quick reserves are there at the beginning as oppose to when a person is near goal? I hope you understand what I am saying. For example, what you are saying is that I will lose my reserves first regardless how much I weigh. Is it because I went from sedentary and then started actively losing weight? -

Is There A List Of "allowable" Alcohol Here? What Have You Sipped On?
Kiki Von Moonshine replied to Kiki Von Moonshine's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Okay thanks. I know a alot about liquor (well at least my favorite ones) including the caloric content. I was a gym rat a few years ago and I googled all of my favorite drinks for the alcohol content. Can't remember the exact numbers but it was like 1000 cals for one of my favorite drinks depending on the size. I'm not a big drinker, just was interested on how it affects some, and if there was a "list' on here. I was watching someones youtube, and she still felt the liquor the next day, but she was drinking at 4 weeks out so I'm sure it would be different later. I guess there's only one way to find out. -

My doctor put no alcohol on the paper like that's going to happen. So what I want to know is how long does it take to leave your system? -

Lol @ cheap date. You can share meals. Could you imagine. Oh my gosh, I love doggy bags, or having left overs to munch on later. Sorry, I'm hungry. I too am single and not seriously looking. When I have my surgery and start losing, I think I'm just going to enjoy that free/me time. I'm going to dress how I want, and really just enjoy the new me. It's been a long time coming. Like on the biggest loser there were a few couples formed, and I just think especially when there is something that both people went through it helps on the bonding. -

Never too late to measure. You're suppose to measure your neck, upper arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs, and calves. You'll be surprised. -

Kiki Von Moonshine replied to sallynew's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've always lost weight in my boobs, tummy, and face first. My legs get chickeny in comparison to my upper body, but lets see. Hopefully when I'm in the 150 zone every thing will even out. -

Well a RNY to a sleeve would be a DS. Wouldn't it be? I'm sure they'd be some extra moving around, making the surgery more tricky. -

Kiki Von Moonshine replied to sallynew's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You have a good breast? What's that? Lol. Yea, that's weird. The fat wants to leave where it wants to leave. I'm sure my belly will lose weight first and that's where my weight is. That and my boobs. *Crossing fingers.
