    Worried...

Ah, I hear you. I was not exercising much except for walking and house chores. But, I decided to try a gym and have been going for a month and have noticed the results come alot faster than when I exercised before surgery...that in itself is a great motivator. Also, there is an article somewhere on this site about loose skin...I found it by doing a search. Good luck to ya!

    Clothes Exchange?

Yes!!! I'd love to do a clothing exchange. I'm currently a 22/24, but shrinking to a 22. I do have some clothes size 26/28. Let me know.
  3. Almost a month post op and things are up/down.

  4. Hey Gina, Are things getting any easier? Did you get the help you needed/wanted from our responses? Let us know how you're doing.

Does anyone use lose it? I'd like some more friends on there to buddy up with. Let me know.
  6. Hi Zephyr, I haven't tried those two together, but I have used chicken broth to thin out the cheddar soup and it is tasty. But I've noticed that nothing tastes the same twice. I'm wondering if there's a site somewhere out there that can show me more choices.
  7. All is not lost. I'm getting a little sick of my post op diet too. Talk to your nutritionist about other options so it doesn't get boring. Variety is the spice of life. I was put on a 2 day clear liquid diet and now am on a 7 day protein shakes and thinned liquids diet. You might want to check out the Unjury brand protein; Chicken Soup flavor. I'm able to eat thinned down Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup! I know how ya feel about wanting a cheesburger-I feel that way too but I don't want to jeopardize what's been done or make myself really sick. That's all I can do is share my experience with you. Good luck.

    ~April Sleevers~

Hi. I hear ya. I was sleeved on the 11th also. Protein shakes are not as easy as they were pre surgery. I tried Tony Robb which is a palatable brand, especially chocolate. But my suggestion to you is that you can thin the shake down with more Water. Hope that helps.

Hi. I just got sleeved on 4/11/12, I'd like to chat with you. How's it going?
  10. Hi, I want to know about hair loss, sagging skin. Your experience with the surgical center. How to look up support groups. Did you ever break your pre op diet and maybe have something you shouldn't have had? Tell me the pros/cons of life now compared to before. The success rate of this surgery (any credible sources-even yourself as an example is fine). That's about all i can think of right now. I'm going in on 4/11. Seattle, WA Dr. Landerholm.
