So I had my appointment at 2:30 to get my drain out. At 4:00, the receptionist decides to announce that the dr is in surgery and I have to come back tomorrow! ( -

Well it's finally out! Thank you Lord!!!!!! I'm little disappointed that I have only lost 3 pounds since surgery on May 1st but I know from reading on here that is to be expected and my weight WILL come off. I have lost 16 pounds total so far and I am proud of that. They are gone forever!!!!! Thanks to everyone for tuning in to my drain saga -

Anakin Jay, The shots are what I use. I am on my way to my dr right now but when I get home I will post the name of them. I get them at walmart and the ones that I get have 42g in each. My nut said not to consume over 30g at once so I just drink half in the morning, other half midday and a half of another before bed and I get all of my Protein in:). -
Were any of you still needing something for pain after a week post surgery?

See all dr gave me was a little tiny bottle of liquid lortab.....his nurse told me to take advil!!! I'm talking to the dr about it tomorrow

Please don't get me wrong, I am THANKFUL for my sleeve but this drain is about to drive me up the wall! I was sleeved on May 1st. I really thought about that too, why some dr's use drains and some don't? I have had to really empty mine out about 2 times a day too. After about a week, it becomes very tender and I have a 2 year old daughter who thinks its funny to sometimes pull on mine lol. It must come out soon!! -

Well I have an appointment in an hour with my dr to get this awful drain out. I just don't want to sound like a weirdo when I tell him that I still have moments of really bad pain. We will see.

Girl I was so mean I said things to my fiancé that were terrible!!! Terrible is an big understatement. Just explain to everyone around you that you are not yourself right now. It will be fine.

I'm sorry but this Jp drain is coming out tomorrow and I couldn't be happier!!!!!! It is so tender and I can't move an inch without it hurting! Can somebody tell me what to expect when the drain come out? Does it hurt worse than it already does?

I am one week post op and still have really bad gas pains. They are killing my back and its difficult to walk with. I am soo uncomfortable right now! It also feels like i need to pop my back or arch back to stretch my stomach muscles but I cant do that either! When will the discomfort go away? I read where some people are feeling 100% and I don't.

The weird thing is that I didn't start getting gas pains until day 6 post op. is that normal? I didn't sleep at all last night because i am just so uncomfortable and its very painful. I am going to try something today. Thanks for everybody's input !

There are many things I am looking forward to doing once my weight starts coming off but one thing u just can NOT wait to do is wear my beautiful engagement ring. I wouldn't let my fiancé get it sized anymore because we knew I would be losing weight soon. Share what you are most excited about !!!

I am only 1 week post op .

That is what my dr has been telling me to take. He as to take 3 Advil liquid gels every 6 hours as needed.

Back 2 Work Today

I go back to work Thursday and I'm curious how I will hold up also! I am a week post op now. I tried going to Walmart Saturday and I didn't do very well. I had to find a bench and fast ! I have a desk job so hopefully it will be fine.
