Went to the movies tonight. I was caught up in the movie that I reached in to the popcorn tub and ate 12 to 15 popped kernels before I realized what I had done. I am 3 weeks almost 4. Now I am worried that this can hurt my sleeve or that I am falling in to old patterns. I am do disappointed in myself. Help!

I was feeling the same, very weak. My dr gave me the go ahead to eat mushies. It helped so much.

Does anyone know if we can use straws? When I had my lap band sugary I was told no straws for 6 months. But when I converted to the sleeve no mentioned we could not use them. Any ideas?

Hi Jocy, took 2 weeks for me. I asked my insurance advocate if there was any updates. I was told AetnA was asking for more info. Maybe the insurance advocate can give you an update. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Only drinking water, tend to drink more if I have a cup and straw. Call me a wierdo

I take Nexium... But had that before surgery for on going GERD. I was told I could continue Nexium or omperzaole for heartburn.

Hi Jocy, the date is getting closer.., any word from Aetna? I am doing ok, was rough for me on the liquid phase but getting better every day. Keep me posted.

I was sleeved 3/14. I have no energy... Started my vitamins 3/22 but even taking a shower is a major chore;( any ideas?

Hi, Mews... I was a day of ahead of you on my surgery. I am starting to feel a little better. I noticed I am starting to get hungry. I do eat as the I was told too and only eat a few bites and I am good to go. I am still struggling with getting in the 64oz of Water. I am right at the 32 oz mark but working up to the 64 oz.. I do have moments where I feel tired but working on it..

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I just have this feeling like something is wrong. Took a 10 min shower this morning and I felt like I had been power walking for two hours. I hope it's just my bodys way of recovering -
I think I am having a bad moment, but not sure. I feel so tired and I get hot flashes for no reason. I am also disgusted with myself because I can't make the 64 oz water mark:( I am barley at 30 oz. I just feel so full. I am so tired and really starting to think I made a big mistake:( sigh.... Thank you for just letting me vent.
