I read a study that concluded that smokin' the devils lettuce after wls would make you a skinny retard playing video games in your mamas basement not a fat one. Just kidding ' date=' but having loads of experience [back in college']why torment yourself with the munchies during the losing phase, maybe that could be a non food reward for meeting goals.I know potheads aren't supposed to have goals just sayin ,if you had goals and that sort of thing was legal where you live.Lol, I love your response... And aren't suppose to have goals, lol to funny. Reading this after giving my hub **** for smoking today, lol made me smile.

Cornstarch is amazing, I use it when ever I get the red stinky rash, clears up the next day and if used after every shower under any folds will keep you dry and clean.... Love it

I eat out all the time, if I have to stop at McDonalds with kids I get the Greek chicken wrap and eat the inside and throw away the tortilla, I've had prime rib mind u only couple bites, shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, Soups, many things u can order when your out.

Slow going.... Down 41lbs from start of 345lbs. Sleeved june 18th. Lost 20lbs first 2 weeks, so really only 20lbs in 2 months... Not enough I'm huge should be falling off me. I find I stall for 2 weeks lose 2-3 then stall, getting all my Protein in and staying around 800-900 cal, what more can I do.... Oh I know exercise, lol.

I'm curious about taking hcg just to speed up the process and help release the belly fat, I've lost almost 40lbs but my pants size hasn't changed.. I did hcg 3 rounds lost 64lbs and u really lose from the belly first, but gained it all back in 6 months... It helps u release the old stored fat first.

Can't wait to weigh less than my husband, ride a bike again, go skiing, kayaking, amusement rides, being comfortable in a plane. To shop anywhere, wear cute shoes, not have tummy toe as hubby calls it, like when your pants makes an indent into your belly. Oh and to have alot more fun in the sack

2 months today down 35lbs... Not as good as I hoped for but I'll take it... 11 more pounds to 299, can't wait to say goodbye to the big 3#... I'm feeling a little lost, I don't have a nutritionist that has a clue bout the surgery and the eating plans, dr. is 3 hrs away and I don't need to see him for couple months... Just wish I had some one to tell me if what I'm doing is good or bad, all info I know has come from this site.

2 months out 35lbs down.... Very slow. No pre op diet either... Start weight 345. Long way to go.
-
Slowly losing but down 34lbs, since June 18th... Slow I say because I have 160lbs to lose, thought it would be falling off at first. I guess slow and steady wins the battle too.

How many calories a day are you getting? I'm a slow loser and try to eat Protein first, no room for veggies, also no trouble with any foods, I'm 7 weeks out and have lost 33lbs, don't understand the slow loss, 20lbs the first 2 weeks... Can you give me an idea of you daily food... I eat between 800-1000 calories....
-
I'm a slow loser too.. Week 6 today and down 31lbs, 20 of which I lost the first 2 weeks... I wouldn't mind so much but I have never been a slow loser before, Weight Watchers I would lose 5-7lbs a week and I did the Hcg diet and lost 35lbs in 40 days anytime I set my mind to a diet I lost easily, just could never stay motivated and keep it off... I have 160lbs to lose so thought I'd lose lots at first, but my dr reassured me I'm doing great and 1-2 lbs a week is what he'd like to see.

I had no preop diet at all, I was 345lbs day of surgery, and no purée stage I'm 51/2 weeks out and have been on solids since week 2, 30lbs down, I've been fine no vomiting no nausea can eat anything in moderation, mainly protein... I like my Drs rules way better than others, it works for me.
-
I drank with a straw from day one, they gave me straws in the hospital to use, I questioned them and they said its ok, if you get gas pains stop but I too drink more if I can use a straw.

Stalls suck:(. I'm 51/2 weeks out and lost 30lbs as of this morn, very slow moving as I lost first 20lbs the first 2 weeks... I've come to realize I lose 1lb every 2-3 days... Slow but will be better for my flabby skin in the long run I guess.

Thanks for putting things in perspective, today's week 5 and I'm down 29lbs I'm happy with that I guess;) figure I'm losing a pound every 2-3 days, I guess in the long run it will be better for my flabby skin.

I will be 5 weeks out on Monday and have only lost 27lbs.... 20lbs the first 2 weeks and only 7 lbs since... I only eat about 700-900 cal a day, and walk quite a bit. I started at 345 so I have a lot to lose and thought I'd lose alot faster. I know when I did WW I could lose 5-7lbs a week and I did the Hcg diet and lost 35lbs in 40 days... How could someone only lose 7lbs in 3 weeks while eating so little, I don't get it.... My day is usually a Greek yogurt, Protein smoothie, cheese string with deli ham, and whatever meat I cook the family for dinner, I have a sleeve of steal and nothing bothers me, never feel sick and have never vomited. I was wondering if taking Hcg would help with the belly fat as its your old underling fat that is lost while taking the hormone. My idea weight loss would be at least 4-5 lbs a week for the first 75lbs, hope things speed up I just don't know how it's physically possible not to lose
-
I went camping at 2 weeks out and felt great the whole time, swam and walked and fished... I've had no problems at all sleeve of steal, been on regular food since 2 weeks, dr doesn't suggest purée stage as you eat more, rather you get full on Protein then drink down extra calories. No issues with throwing or nausea.
-
I'm only 4 weeks out and have lost 26lbs, was hoping for more but it's in the right direction... I have 200lbs to lose, ouch.
