That's awesome! What size did you start out at?

My surgeon said he will use my sleeve scars and have to add one tiny one. I'm excited about him using my bigger sleeve scar because he glued it shut last time and so the scar is bigger than it should be IMO. I'm going to ask him to suture it this time so I will just have a tiny line now instead of an oval scar.

Did having it out slow you weight loss at all? I've read some stuff about gaining weight after the surgery, but that was from unsleeved people. Im curious if it effects us the same way.

Yeah def get it looked at!! Even if you don't want it out yet they can give you some pain mess for when you have attacks!

It's the worst pain ever!! It started with nausea and soon after that it really started hurting. It was right under my boobs and went all the way around to my back. It was a tightness along with what felt like being stabbed in my right side. I couldn't take a deep breath or stand up even. I had chills and was sweating and shaking. It lasted about 1.5 hours and only stopped after taking 2 lorarabs, 3 extra strength Tylenol, and an ambien. I have never in my life hurt that bad.

I'm a soda addict and I crave it like once a week. So what I will do is go buy one and take a sip...and guess what? I don't want a second sip! After not drinking it for a month and then trying it again it burns my tongue so bad! But even knowing this now I still crave it! So I just have to get a soda and remind myself every now and again that I don't like it anymore. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Before I had surgery I did a weight loss program when you took a weekly shot with b12, b6, and something called lipotropic I think. Does anyone know if this shot could be used after surgery? I know the b12 could help a lot with energy and my hope is that the lipotropic which is used to break down fat would be able to do the same now as it did before. I just want to make sure it's not something that would hurt me. I still am going to ask my dr but I wanted to see if anyone here had any experience with this. Thanks :] Sent from my iPhone using VST

My sleeve is doing great. Down 27lb in 1 month and 1 week since surgery. I just am looking for a little something extra to get my body feeling better and more fueled for work outs and stuff. What do each of these things feel like? I had a bad episode today that had me in tears. I was about to go to the er but then I guess the Tylenol I took kicked in and dulled the pain. I am just trying to figure out what that pain was. Sent from my iPhone using VST

I was sleeved march 22nd. My starting weight was 263 and my current weight is 238. So I've lost a total of 25 pounds so far. Like many of you said---I lost 20lb of that within the first 2 weeks. and then only five pounds since then!! So that's been a bit frustrating. But everything has been going great! My nut gave me a diet plan for the pre op diet. I decided not to do anything before that. I know a lot of people on here say to start training yourself for how you'll be eating after surgery but in my opinion there is no way to really prepare yourself. After surgery everything tastes different and feels different. You're full after a few bites so it's pretty easy to not over indulge. I know this is not the common opinion here but I say enjoy yourself and enjoy food before your pre op diet. This is the last time for a while that you can eat what you want. In the end it's your decision and you're the only one who will know what is going to make this part of the process easiest on you. Good luck on your journey Sent from my iPhone using VST

Lol Mine didnt start until id been home a few days and so when I had some friends and family come over, the first thing I told them is be prepared to hear me toot. After 3 days of being bloated beyond belief when those toots started coming I didn't care who was around---I was getting that air out of me as soon as I could!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

I'd anyone have stitches in their largest incision? Mine did not and I'm pretty sure I'll have a not so pretty scar because of that. I'm just wondering why my doctor didn't stitch it up. Still not complaining though...a scar is better than a chubby belly. :] Sent from my iPhone using VST

hey everyone!! How are all of y'all doing?? I'm 26 days post op and doing really good! Still having trouble getting enough protein, but I am getting about 30g a day at least. I'm trying! went for my follow up with the doc and he said I should be eating 1000 calories a day! Not exactly sure how that would be possible!!! I'm getting MAYBE 400-500. I really never thought there would be a point in my life when someone telling me I had to have 1000 calories a day would seem like too much. It's crazy to think about the life change in just less than a month. as for my weight...I've lost 18lb which I was so excited about when I had lost that in just 2 weeks. But I haven't lost anything since that 2 week mark. Really was hopinh that 3 week stall would skip me but no such luck! I'm going to start working out this week so hopefully that'll get things moving again! I have a beach trip at the end of may for my birthday so I want to lose as much as I can before then! I'm curious to know how much other people have lost that had surgery dates close to me. Let me know! Hope everyone is well and happily sleeved!
