Well, I have all my pre-op testing this week and I am sick I got on an antibiatic on Monday. The doc that gave it to me said that the tests shouldnt be affected. One thing I was stressing was when I was going to have the blood work done. Most places close to early and Sat. would be a day to late to have it done. So since I was sick and went to the doc on Monday she had told me that when I come back on wednesday for the pre-op testing they actully take the blood in the office. This is my PMD doc's office. I go to a nurse practioner who was is not in on monday saw my old doc on monday. So, anyways I am glad I asked all that on Monday cause I didnt know I was getting the blood work that day and I wouldnt have fasted. I have to fast all day at work my apointment is at3:15. So, that done tomorrow and then the chest x-ray on Thursday. After that is it just all pre on my own. I wish it would all go by just a bit faster. I am getting antsy. Sorry about the bad spelling guys!

Tomorrow I have a doctor's apointment at 3:15 since I work during the day so i have to fast for my pre-op blood work till then. They said I and eat up untill 7am. 7am lol I wake up then. I wont ever get up early just to eat. So, it will be my fault if I suffer though lol

Ok guys... I finished all my tests and everything for the insurance company. Everything is submitted. I am now just waiting for my Doctor's office to call me and let me know if I am approved. They said my issurance company usually takes 15 days to approve. I have started buying things as if I am approved and just saving the receipts. I won't have much time to do all that if I just wait for an answer to do all that. Keep your fingers crossed. :eek:

lisanjason, Do you have before and after pics? I am being banded March 30th and am on the lower end like you were to start.

I'm really sorry you have to go though all that with your hubbies :girl_hug: Makes me want to rent out mine. I will thank g-d once again for having him!

This is a big problem for me. I dont have much time and I havent been able to kick the habit. Tonight is my last night out drinking though

Hi all! I just joined this website. I have been looking on here for a month or so. I have found everything I have read helpful. Thank you so much! I am hoping to be banded. I have gone through all the the things for my insurance company except the sleep study. That is going to be on Friday. After that they said it should take my insurance company 15 days to give me an answer. If all goes well my date is April 2nd. For now I wait! :bored Susie

Doc said I dont have a pre-op diet cause I am on the lower of the BMI spectrum.
