May 15 surgery- 250 day of surgery- today 187. Was a size 24 day of surgery- yeaterday- bought my first pair of 12s ever! 63 lbs lost since surgery- 67 since 3 day preop diet! Walk twice a day- no sugar- no unnatural carbs- no fast food- no cheating- no drugs- no alcohol- just hard work and it's paying off!!!! -

Yes- just last week a guy came up to talk to my hubby and I in the park- he mentioned how nice it was for me to be there walking with my DAD! Lmao! To his defense I dont wear my wedding ring right now because it's a size 9.5 and now I wear a size 6.5- but still! It was so funny

Yea- I'm short- and round like a ball! -
Sleeved May 15- so two weeks in front - have lost 62 lbs so far- only 4 pre op. Having the same chewing, quick eating, and protien issues as many. I don't think I have ever once hit the goals- but I do the best I can every day without over stuffing myself. There must be something right. 250 day if surgery- today 192.

When I had my surgery, I wore my upper and lower retainers. Hell I just spent 6000 on braces and had them in for 4 years, I wasn't about to have something get chipped or a tooth come out! I just put them in right before I went in, and had them in when I woke up, and gave them to my husband. They never said anything about them, and I was also one of the only people that didn't have a sore throat from the tube down my throat! :-) -

I was nervous about this also- The day of surgery I took out my navel piercing but that was all. I have other piercings- and those were not taken out- and no one asked or requested I take them out. One day after surgery my husband replaced my belly ring with just a curved bar- and everything ended up fine. I had my VSG in Mexico- May 15, 2012 -
