What kind if reconstructive surgery did you have?

I haven't had corn, celery, and some I can't even remember. But my string beans I way overcook to get them very mushy- But yeah- I was told no celery- ever- and no corn for a long time. I think I'm okay with that tho. Celery I do miss!!!!

Lol! Me too!!!! I had to buy a twin one for my side of the bed so I can unthaw when I go to bed!

I used the heating pad NON STOP for the first four weeks- I had one on my couch- chair- car- bed- and I still use one every once in a while in each place. I never had a bit if infection or any of that business. That heating pad saved me so many times! I used it for surgery pain, back pain from having to sleep on my back- I'm a tummy sleeper. As well I use it now for back pain. I lost my weight very quickly and my body is taking its time adjusting, so like I said, I still use the heating pads! I use them to WARM up now because I'm freezing all the time Happy losing everyone

Tho is an amazing list! I'm going to borrow this! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm not sure why people feel its okay to drink soda and alcohol as they do- probably because people tell them it's okay.... I guess if you don't make the total lifestyle change - people just Veiw it as another diet that will eventually fail:(

Yes I have those super sharp pains under my shoulder blades also. I do not have a gall bladder though, so mine is not GB. It was take OUT with my sleeve surgery. Mine is like a sharp hot knife is being dug into my back right under my shoulder blades:(I feel you ;( I have an MRI next Thursday. Also I have been numb from the belly button down since early August. Best of luck to you!

Please, only for those that have gotten to goal...... Once you get there, do you find that you need to lose more, or that you are not satisfied with how you look at goal, and feel you need to lose more? I am 8lbs away from my first goal. (150) from 254~ I am more dissatisfied with my body right now than I have ever been. I am pretty sure that my final goal will be 120, and not 150 like I first anticipated.

Thank you ladies, I appreciate the replies! I started at size 24, and I am now a size 8 with some smaller 10s still fitting. I always thought I will be so happy at 150.........but at 158, my head is saying "nope". I still feel fat, I still look fat in photos, and I am so short, I seem to be a little ball!

5ft1- 36 years old- May 15 surgery I weighed 250 day if surgery. 5 months later (in a couple days) I weigh today 158. I only lost 4 lbs pre op- so highest weight was 254 and now 158- almost to first goal of 150! 96 lbs lost total- 92 in the 5 months since surgery Started our size 24- I am now a size 8

Surgery May 15, size 24, 250lbs. Today, Oct 6, (I think) size 8/9, down 90 lbs since surgery to 160 flat. Highest weight 254- 4 days before surgery and preop diet. Good luck everyone

Yes! Sleeved May 15 of this year! 250 day of surgery- 254 4 days prior. Today- 164- 90lbs gone since 4 days before my change of life! Feels good to lose! Congrats!!!!
