Is it possible to stretch out my sleeve? I feel like I have and I really don't want to ask my surgeon of fear he will yell at me for gaining weight back. Does anyone know if you can stretch it out for good. I can eat so many chips, crackers, etc. just like I did before surgery.

If you are not sure what to eat talk to your NUT. He/She is a valuable resource. Also, the golden rule: protein first. You can do this!

Long-Term Vsg: When Did You Feel Like Capacity Stabilized/"stopped Growing"?

I love this thread. It makes me feel normal when I read that there are others that eat carbs and don't get full. I have to stay away from them. It's like a drug once I start it's OVER! -
After You Have Been Sleeved For A While, What Does Retriction Feel Like?
AnewdayAnewlife replied to PJ_Sleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I ditto the others. However, when I eat simple carbs. (which I know I'm not suppose do) I don't get that full feeling but when I eat protein (which you are suppose to eat) then I feel full. This is just my experience. Everyone is different but I thought I would give you another experience. Good luck - it was the best thing I ever did. -
My scale is well used. We're both crazy!

How Many Calories (And Other Nutrients) Do You Eat Per Day On Average, Realistically?
AnewdayAnewlife replied to nyxa's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My rule of thumb is more than 80 grams of protein and less than 50 grams of carbs. That's all I count. -
Unflavored Protein Powder
AnewdayAnewlife replied to DanaInNewOrleans's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When I make the pudding I put it in the milk then stir in the pudding mix. It may be a little less smooth but it doesn't bother me. With the coffee I make the iced coffee then pour in the Protein powder. Coffee has such a strong flavor that it works great for me. -
Unflavored Protein Powder

I have to say I really like my unflavored Protein. I put it in SF chocolate pudding and iced coffee. I can't taste anything but pudding or coffee. -

Can I Do The Surgery Alone?
AnewdayAnewlife replied to sramos89's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This question was meant for me! I did it on my own. I wish I didn't have to but I did. I did have someone drop me off and pick me up though. The pain I had was mostly gas but everyone is different. If there is someone to go with you then the support would be great but if not then you can do it! -
