Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! -
So I started my liquid diet on 4/2 surgery date 4/16. I have been very strict, I have not been eating etc. The sat before my surgery I have decided to have my "last meal" with my stomach on 4/14 nothing heavy a grilled chicken wrap and maybe some Chinese chicken and broccoli. Technically 4/13 will be two weeks liquid. The day before surgery straight water until midnight when there is no more eating/drinking allowed. Sooo yay or nay?

It's not a denied... Stay positive!! -
As promised keeping you guys updated day 2 seemed pretty easy, minimal headache and lots of energy. I work the evening shift and for some reason when I got home at 10pm I was starving!!! I literally got up out of bed at around 1 am and emptied my fridge so there were NO distractions. sleepytime decaf tea has been helping knock me out at night. I am on day 3 and already down 3lbs!!!! No headache stomach, growls here and there but I'm sticking to it!!! I more week to go!!! Oh tmi maybe but going to the bathroom has become harder as expected "/

Today I start my two week liquid diet. I literally ate until midnight lol. I'm surprised I didn't gain all my weight back last week with all the saying out.. at any rate I'm laying here hungry. I read some post describing nausea etc. I am fully prepared to take off of work sit home with a box of tissues and cry lol
-

Me too lol the margarita flavor is pretty good. Have a slight headache. I'm stressing and already been approved. Such an emotional rollercoaster -
I catch myself thinking too deep into things. Lately its been this just isn't gonna happen. I received confirmation from my insurance company stating I am approved and a letter from my surgeons office confirming dates and times for pre op testing and even my my surgery (4/16) ... I am Sooooo anxious I just don't want anything to prevent it

Stay on them!!! Call every day... Twice a day if u want. Mine was the same way!! It took a week before my case was opened and that following Monday I got an approval (after I had called them that morning and afternoon) -
I am allowed to have clear liquids, decaf tea and coffee, 2 protein bars a day, and protein shakes. I drink eas chocolate shakes... They are very filling and taste like chocolate milk...RMS best of luck I hear it beta easier after day 3!

Congrats to all you guys coming down pretty quickly. Teamthin I agree with that the more you have to loose the faster. Let's just hope I have the same advances. I wanna be an ultimate goal of 175lbs. And I don't want people to think I am having surgery just for my looks purposes, of course my health is a huge factor. BUT do not wanna have hanging loose skin and look like I've had surgery... You know?
-
I hope I have such luck. I have gained so much weight I have the slight hanging pouch. Have hopes I can shape it up without plastic surgery
