I think I'm overdoing it. I've never been good at liquid diets. I ate creme soup, I did not weigh but figured it was 1/4 cup and some more chicken pot pie but tonight I had more of the crust and I feel a knot under my ribs. Not literally, it just feels really tight. And gas but I get that every time I eat anything with any protein still. I think I need to make sure and count to 30 before putting another bite in my mouth, still tend to eat too fast.
I buy the chocolate pure protein from Walmart. Already made up. I've never liked the powder kinds. 23grams of protein, meets all the other requirements for protein drinks, low carb,low sugar, low calorie. Actually tastes like chocolate milk
I rode on the motorcycle today with hubby, only a couple of bad bumps. Gas is getting better. I hope to be able to sleep flat tonite, I think I will rest better. I have had yogurt, a protein shake today and a little bit of chicken pot pie. I was missing 'real' food. I've always had problems staying on liquid diets.
I was banded Thursday. Still have alot of gas. Seems like whenever I put anything in my stomach, the gas gets worse. Walking about 30 minutes 2x a day. Have to sleep sitting up because I can't get in/out of bed. I'll be glad when the gas is gone. I've had a little leaking from the port incision but that's stopped now. Not swollen or anything.
