  1. I am very pleased with their after care. I have to travel about 1 hour to get to CIBO so I like the fact that I can see the nutritionist, psychologist, chiropractor/sports doctor and have my band filled all in one visit. Since they are all located at CIBO, they set up my appointments right in a row so I can be out in about 2 hours. I find them very helpful and supportive.
  2. I was banded in March and have lost 31 lbs. I still think it's the best thing I ever had done and would recommend CIBO to everyone. I haven't lost anymore weight but that's really my own fault. It's very easy to slip back into your old habits so I've given myself a kick in the butt today and plan to start losing again. The good thing about the band is that it lets you know when you've eaten enough. I've had a couple of episodes where food I've eaten too quickly or too much and it feels like a golf ball is stuck. The only way to help the food go down is get up and walk, walk, walk. I think someone mentioned about having it stitched into place and that's exactly what they do. I would recommend Dr. Dennis Hong and the CIBO clinic to anyone.
  3. I have lost 30 lbs so far (since starting the pre op diet) and feel great. I am more consious about what I put in my mouth. I just came back from vacation and lost another 2 lbs. I ate the same as everyone else except I stopped eating when I was full. When I grew up, I was taught to eat everything on my plate. When I let go of that habit, I found it much easier and don't feel the least bit deprived. They sutured my band and port too. Once you heal, you don't even know it's there.
  4. I had mine done there on March 26th, 2012 and they were excellent. I would highly recommend them as the support system there is really good. Along with the surgery, they have a nutritionist, psychotherapist and chiropractor/sports doctor that will answer all your questions. I have met with each of them and they are helping me with questions I have along with giving me an exercise plan to follow.
