I have been every size from a 2 to 18, also have been on every diet/meal plan out there. I have taken diet pills, fat burners and done HCG. But here I am because even when some of those have worked, I eventually gain it back plus some. Wow what a reoccuring theme this is with everyone. When I turned 40 I slowly started to gain weight (about 20 lbs) without much success at losing it. Then when I was 44 I quit smoking and gained another 30 lbs. Over the next 5 yrs (I'm 49 now) I packed on another approx. 25 lbs. from the yo yo dieting. When I turned 49, I told myself I was not going to look this way when I turned 50! Well I will be 50 in 4 months and I don't look the same way......I look worse, I have gained another 6 lbs!!!!!!
I am excited to start this journey into Lap Band Surgery and feel like this will definitely be the tool I need to help me make a lifestyle change. I spent all of my 40's being overweight, so my 50's are certainly going to be the new 40's for me!!!!
