New Here!

Hi! I'm new and my surgery is July 6th,tomorrows the first day of my pre op liquid diet. I'm very excited and nervous, caught myself thinking all the terrible what-ifs and almost backed out, then I was admitted to the hospital with gallbladder pain, I thought it was a heart attack and at 29 years old that scared me back into the reality of why I need this surgery. I'm in Arkansas and have no face to face support group so I'll be here lots.

    Losing Weight

I bet you'll do it, you're stronger than u think! I just got outta the hospital today, I gained weight after seminar then lost a little pre op but still was heavier than seminar weight, but my surgeon was proud of my tiny loss and said from surgery on is where he's really going to monitor my loss! Best of luck sweetie!!!

  16. Hi! I've been in the process for 2 years now and am getting closer. I'm on the 8th month of my year of medically supervised weight loss attempts, I've been on adipex the entire time so sick of it lol. But I've lost 45 lbs, so now I'm at 226 lbs with a bmi of 38,which scares me bc it's not 40. I have medicare so when I checked last year all I have left to do is my psych eval after this! I am really looking forward to the surgery, meeting with Dr wellborn and starting the rest of my life!
