Gastric Plication Weight Loss Surgery to gastric sleeve weight loss surgery revision
canadianprairiegal replied to Sarah Elsekhawy's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
i still feel comfortable with the plication, i have spoken to a lot of people that have had this and are doing fine, i guess it is what u r comfortable with, as for the the grehlin yea that is not removed, but even if it was you get that back within a year after surgery, so have to deal with that at one point. ty for your experience tho i hope all is well for u now -
Gl. Keep us posted, u will do great

Will A Revision Work For Me?
canadianprairiegal replied to alfieo's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I agree no matter what u have as a tool u have to re train yourself on eating well and exercise. pizza maybe 1slice every 2 months as a treat, but then again u get the taste of bad food head goes I have her now, leads to other bad foods. By the sounds of it u have no close support to give u the encouragement to go down the right path, u need support is there no support group where u r, family, friends to keep u on the right track. Before looking at anymore surgery u have to believe u can do this. I wish u the best of luck -
U r so lucky to get where u live, instead of traveling, 10 year waiting list here

I am having mine next week same worried about nutrition etc, vitamins which at our age we should be taking anyway right as for nausea yep I hear ya there, I will hold it back if I have to but I found this patch u put behind your ear and it stops the nausea, I do truly believe if u have nausea longer then a few days after surgery then prob eating to fast or drinking, my friend went last month she was sick for a it after surgery few hrs was fine. Read more on it we r all nervous, excited but it is a huge tool to help us out. I am going for the plicating sleeve, because I am more comfortable with that, Have read so much in hear and feel better with my decision gl. U will do great

Lost 30 Lbs On My Own. Should I Go Throu With Vsg?
canadianprairiegal replied to 1Bumblebee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
i agree as a yoyo person myself, it was hard, and then more depressing when you gained it back, and usually gained more then when you started to lose the first, second , third time, when u got to your goal, your thought process is oh i can have a little of this and that, before you know it you are back to square 1. I agree it is your decision and only you know if you can maintain on own after the loss, i wish you the best of luck -
