    Silly Nsv

    Something happened yesterday that made me so happy. I take a class in Roller Derby, all the skating, none of the impact. Some girls wear cute derby outfits (shirts, shorts/skirt, socks. I bought some cute knee socks at the beginning of the class, but my calf's were too big for them. Not anymore! They are still tight, but they go all the way up. I was soo happy.

    Cereal and the Lap Band ?

    i love cereal, and it's my quick go to when nothing else sounds good. Only have it maybe a couple of times a week at most. I do eat the Kashi Golean, it has either 9 or 13gm protein, depending on what flavor I have. Somewhere around 120 calories for about a cup (again depends on flavor). I add a cup of skim milk and let it set for a while. This helps to soften up the cereal. I drink the milk first then eat the softer cereal. I talked to my nutritionist and she was fine with this.

    Hi, welcome to the site. I have found so much great information, the good and the band. The key is to do your research and make sure you are comfortable with your decision. I had surgery in Indianapolis 5/21/12. It was the best decisions I ever made for myself. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    16/18 tops

    Sorry I can't help as I'm needed the same size. I have had some great success at goodwill. I've been able to get some practically new items for next to nothing. It does take some time, and sometimes I don't find anything. This weekend I found two pairs of dress pants for work, both for $5.26 total. One's an 18 and one's a 16,ghe 16's don't fit at all and the 18's are a little to tight, but couldn't pass up the price knowing they'll fit soon enough. Good luck!

  16. I had reflux last night for the first time in a long time. I think it's because I ate late and went to bed less than an hour after finishing.

    Losing my hair....still!!!

    my hair loss was the worst between months 3 and 5. I had the same issue with drains clogging. Since then it's gone back to normal. I didn't do anything different, and I don't take biotin. Hopefully your hair will get back to normal soon.

    I use Ease into couch to 5K as well. I really like it.

    Getting the process started

    Congrats on taking that first step. Read as much as you can, you need to know the good the bad and the ugly, that way you'll be prepared. It's been hard, but getting the band was the best thing I've ever done for myself.

    I would talk to your dr and find out why they want to use this on you. Do they have a specific reason, or is it that's just the way they always do it?
