    I think I started a solid daily routine 2 months out.. And really really working it was at 3 months out.. Good luck!!! Exercise really has made changes in my body =]

    I would say it has helped me a lot .. But even though I work out 5 days a week 1.5 hrs n a trainer.. I am starting to see more lose skin in my arms, inner thigh and lower abdomen.. But with all and all I feel great.. Idk if not working out would of bn worse??
  3. Putting clothes away and came across my old tight fitted jeans.24/26.. I compared to the ones I bought yesterday 13/14.. I just realized how much a have shrunk .. Sometimes it takes a while to realize .. Yay!! Lol
  4. Good morning everyone!! It's been 5 months already, hurray! So far down 71 lbs but for the last 3 weeks I haven't lost anything =(... Still exercising 5 times a week and eating the same amounts.. but not sure if its a normal stall or what! Anyone experienced a stall around this month? I'm just thinking its weird since I am burning what I intake, maybe it is the muscle I am gaining.. The trainer measured me and I did increase muscle on my legs... not sure if that is holding me back..
  5. Yesterday went shopping and I must say I loved every min of it!!! I was a size 24-26 and now I'm a size 15 and xl or large top omg I just love seeing my body reshape and change day by day !! And to think ill be only 5 months out next week still half way but feeling great, awesome, wonderful and SEXY! lol

  9. Good morning All- Well for about 3 weeks I havent taken any protein shakes at all... I know it is bad and I should but I just got a lil tired of taking it and one day I didnt take it and well here we are .. How bad is it? I woke up today thinking I can get sick?.. SO far I have not lost any energy.. still working out 5 times a week .. Haven't seen any symptoms that have scared me to take it again... I know I should though =(... My hair is still falling but in the same rate as when I was taking the shakes.. so I am not sure.. Has any one gotten thru a period of not wanting to take protein shakes? I mean I do eat fish, meat, milk, eggs etc etc but I am just not taking the extra shakes...

    Hey guys!! So today was my check up with my personal trainer and I thought I'd share hood news I lost 12 lbs this month, lost 9% of belly fat BUT the important thing was gained some muscle mass !!! Afterall I think I might be eating enough protein Thank you all for your comments and tips. I did buy some power crunch bars n they are delicious wafer type and also some pre made protein drinks with 35 grams ., they are good as well!!! yay, 70lbs down and being on a stall for 2 weeks..

    Well my Doctor did not have me start protein shakes till month 2 .. I guess every surgeon has different guidelines. On july 9th I will be hitting my 5th month post op.. I guess I started tpo worry more because this month hairloss has speed up so fast and I am scared of going bald lol well I do see hair growth and my skin and nails are fabulous.. but the hair part no so good... I tried to take powder collagen for a few weeks but that thing is gross!!! I should start taking biotin atleast to slow down the hairloss... Do you guys think you can actually go bald or have bald spots ?? Well if I get to that extreme I guess I shall wear a wig...

    Thank you for your info. Well to be honest I do not keep a log of how much protein I do per day.. But I do try to eat high protein foods like you mentioned. I am not sure if I eat more than 60 grams though.. But I do not feel tired or in bad health on the contrary I feel good, I have been able to even hike 10 miles without getting light headed or anything. But I guess just to make sure I will atleast try to have one shake per day with 2 scoops.

    Thank you for the response girls.. I know it's a bad decision and well I have to get back on track. I am definetly scared of getting muscle wasting... So starting today I will take my protein =) ... Believe me I was even ashamed of admitting that I havent been taking it =( But I guess that is the first step to getting back in track.

    Gallbladder Issues?

    Last week on my 4 month check up they performed an abdominal ultrasound n no more fatty liver but they did see a small tiny stone in my gallbladder .. Is there something I can do to prevent it?? My doctor wasn't too concerned he said it's so small he thinks it should pass .. But idk if I should worry about it??
  17. This Saturday June 9 will be my 4 months post surgery. . Today went for my check up and it went so wonderful so far lost 57 lbs and so many inches!! Was wearing size 24 n now can fit dress size 16 but the greatest is.. Today they performed an abdomen ultrasound to check on my fatty liver n now is a minimal.. !!! Before surgery it was saturated with fat.. I am happy !!!!
  18. Hey everyone!!! I was sleeved Feb 9, starting weight 284 and as of yesterday I am 227.. 56 lbs that have totally changed my life .. Looking forward in the coming months.. I do exercise also 5 times a week n out of those 5 days 2 t with a trainer.

    So excited 3 months 1 week people are starting to not recognize me!!!!! So far I have lost 52lbs and I am feeling amazing I am working out 5 times a week n twice with a trainer out of those five, I am seeing my body change so much!!!!!! Finally not scared of taking fullbody pics See some before afters
  20. It's been three months and have lost 50lbs !!!! Yay!!! Working out 4-5 times a week for about 1 hr.. ) it's great to even be at this weight !!!! Yay us !!!

    You guys think 41lbs in 10 weeks is slow?? I sure feel like it lol I bn going to the gym 4times a week for about 50mins just cardio (2 weeks already).. Is it because I'm not losing so much muscle mass ? I guess sometimes I see some people losing up to 50 lbs by 10 weeks..

  24. I am 2 months post op, today during lunch time I tried a tiny piece of sandwich (turkey) as soon as I swallowed I felt a nasty feeling.. Something stuck.. I got panicked a lil.. Then I had a bit of water when everything came up nasty nasty feeling ever.... I guess bread was too dry or turkey not sure..
