  1. Hey Lala Im having sugery(lapband) on May 16th!!!I also have almost all my things done for clearance to go ahead.I have to to my pyscho test and thats it!!!So im excited too.Im getting a lil nerveous too.I wish you good luck.My May band buddy!!!Were are you having surgery?

  2. I'm getting banded in May also. You are not alone. I felt a little relieved that my SD was so far away. I think I needed the time to prepare myself emotionally because surgery scares me. Although I did think I would get an April SD. My surgeon only does surgeries on certain days of the week.

I just got the amazing news that I was approved from my insurance, and my surgery date is May 3rd. I am feeling so excited, and a little nervous too. I have to start my 2-week liquid diet April 19, and I think that is going to be very challenging.     Congrats! I definitely know the feeling. I'll be banded May 15th and I'm also excited and nervous. Wishing you the very best and hope to see your updates and progress on the LBT forums.

    I'm excited that I got my SD today. Now it's really setting in that this is really going to happen. I was given so much information today even some soap they told me to use the night before and on the day of surgery. Wow! Lots to read tonight, most of it I already know. Just wanted to share my wonderful news. Looking forward to connecting with some May Banders as well as the lovely Banders on LBT.

  5. I don't know how you drink your Protein shakes but I have learned to vary them up. It makes it so much easier. A scoop of Peanut Butter in the chocolate. I take vanilla and add orange kool aid (unsweetened) for an orange dreamsicle flavor. I also use vanila and put instant coffee and sugar free caramel Syrup (for coffee) in it and make like a mocha. I do strawberry with crystal light lemonade for a strawberry lemonade drink. Also unjury has a chicken Soup Protein drink that's awesome. It doesn't taste like broth but like soup without the noodles. They make a cheese sauce that rocks too. Truthfully' date=' this is just a really hard part of the diet. But stick with it. You'll be great. If you can do it without cheating you'll feel better physically and also mentally that you had the willpower to do it. Just try varying things and remember that this is not forever even though it seems that way![/quote']
