Have you been constipated for a while or lately ?

I'm April 11! Started my preop diet today not as bad as thought but I am experiencing headaches but the PA told us yesterday at the preop class that headaches are normal when you eliminate carbs and used to having a good amount daily so hopefully after a few days it will go away ! But I have one day down 13 more to go before surgery !!!

I'm in the same situation as you no comorbitities or any health issues either. I have been doing the same after reading about people who have had complications I think I'm freaking myself out !! Although yesterday I went to my preop class and they told us it's like a 1% chance of a leak occurring while in surgery they test the stomach for any leaks before the surgery is complete so hearing that was comforting I must add. Ultimately the risk of complications is very minimal for this procedure so I'm just praying all goes well with my surgery !

I'm having my surgery on the 11th of April so I start my diet today , dr told me yesterday I needed to lose at least 10 lbs before my surgery so I'm feeling the pressure hope I can lose the amount before surgery would hate to reschedule ugh!! I'm really anxious and can't afford to have any complications being that I am self pay so I'm praying everything goes well !!

Starting my preop diet today which consist of two protein shakes and 3 oz of protein with a side of veggies absolutely no carbs for the next two weeks !!! The dr told me I had to lose at least 10 lbs prior to surgery so the pressure is on !! I'm confident I can reach that goal before surgery just getting anxious /excited about having the surgery I know these next two weeks will fly by. Having family come in from out of town this weekend so I know this will be a true test of how much I really want this it's gonna take alot of prayer and will from here on out wish me luck :-)

Got my surgery date today april 11!!! Now it's becoming a reality getting nervous yikes

My surgery is April 11!!! I'm really excited and can't wait to get it over with but I'm getting more and more anxious as I read people's threads on here at least once a day I'm thinking is this the right thing for me? Am I just being lazy by not doing it on my own ? Being private pay I'm nervous about any complications and having to stay any additional nights. That being said I know that once I get this done I will be the type to do it 100% and will be successful . I'm naturally an anxious person so I know I'm overthinking this alot so if Any one has any positive advice bring it on anything to ease my anxiety !!!!

Wow they started your pre op diet already mine is just two weeks prior to surgery is there any particular reason that he put you on the diet so soon?

Oh yeah forgot this one major thing !!! I can't wait to quit hearing people say aww you have such a beautiful FACE !!! Haha it's a compliment and insult all in one haha !!!

Got my date this week also april 11 yikes getting nervous can't wait to get the surgery over with !!!

Living in Texas I can't wait to be thin come summer time and be able to throw some shorts and a summer blouse on and not be the sweaty big girl all the time haha !!!!!
