Okay the nerves are starting to kick in! But it's more excitement, than nervousness.. I think! Haha May 15th is my day. I have to be there at 11 and my surgery is 2:00!

I'm getting sleeved May 16th! One week left!

Slap me for saying this, but I almost feel left out because I dont have a liquid diet to do! I have however been on a special diet since January, but it's been okay. I just have a 2 day bowel prep (which honestly I am more scared of than surgery) and day before surgery is clear liquids. I am getting sleeved in one week!!! May 16th by Dr. Meireles in Boston MA. I have been so busy I feel like I haven't had a chance to be nervous. Good luck everyone!

Too funny Ashlee! I don't have a to do a liquid diet, but I am kinda trying to do one anyways..well a little bit. I have a requirement to lose 10% of my weight and I can't seem to keep that last 2 pounds off! I am drinking water and protein shakes for the next few days. I go in on Monday for a check in and I need to be at that weight Monday at 2:30!

Hello everyone! I am scheduled for May 16th! I can't believe how quick it is sneaking up on me! At the beginning it seemed like it would never come because I had all of the appts and it just didn't "feel real" well now I just have my last teaching visit with the PA and NUT on May 7th and then I will be in freak out mode! It's really hitting me now! Good luck everyone!!

For some reason I keep going up and down on the last 4 pounds! I feel like I should have lost way more by now! Anyone have any tips to get the last 4 pounds off by Wednesday? Help!

Thats awesome! Its so good to find someone else that has him for a surgeon! I was a little nervous because I haven't been able to find much about him, (of course I googled the heck out of him! hahaha but he seems very knowledgeable and has told me that he has done several VSG's.

I am scheduled for surgery on May 16th and originally I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I work in the billing depr at the hospital I am having the Surgery at! I figured someone is bound to know when they work on my claim. Plus a few of my friends at work have had WLS so I know people are going to assume anyways. I told the people directly on my team because they would have to cover my job while I was out. After I told them, I immediately regretted it. But now I am just like whatever. I told them I didn't want the whole office knowing, so they should respect that. I work with a bunch of women who all love to gossip. They probably all know by now!

Aww! I would try asking around and see if hubby or any of his friends can do the brakes? You can save some money on labor at least. You will get thru it! My surgery date is May16th and I am convinced something is going to happen to get in the way of it. Good luck with everything and I will definitely keep you in my prayers

Oh my goodness I am so sorry! Will the Hospital allow you to set up a payment plan? I work at a hospital and we set people up on payment plans all the time... Whoops apparently I didnt read your post right! You already tried the payment plan! Darn!
