I had surgery 1/21 so I'm on stage 3 On 2/6 I ate some cheddar broccoli soup and it was so good omg the best .. But did it agree w my stomach hell no omg I was in pain my stomach was talking to me making all kinda noises it lasted for 24 hrs the next morning I woke up w tender pain to my left side of my stomach and I started getting scared so my husband took me to the Er I got tested for a leak I had an X-ray and a whole blood work up everything come back normal the even made sure I didn't have a blockage today I feel so much better but I'm weak cause I haven't had any protein yesterday or today which I struggle w this from the very beginning I'm queasy to the stomach I'mma try my shake in a hour I'm so afraid to move on to puréed stage but I guess at my on time I hear ppl that had surgery on the day I had it and there eating and I'm still eating soup it's hard you guys but I'm hanging in there

I think about it cause you could even see the broccoli it was like sprinkles of the brush part

I lost 26 pounds after surgery but I had kno pre op diet I'm doing pretty good tell me when you eat your puréed how many spoons it take you to get full ..does stuff bell pepper has rice in it ...do you puréed the food you eat or do you just chew it well

I'm some what afraid to try puréed I'm doing okay I'm just scared to over eat and throw up

We had surgery the same day I believe 1/21 what are some of the things your eating I'm on stage three full liquids and some puréed and how is you tummy holding up

Hang in there guys when my papers was submitted I was approved in 24 hrs it will happen sooner then u think I'm 16 days out

I kno the feeling my husband is ordering Popeyes as we speak with a pepper talking about smell good oh gosh that was like my Fav pre op ..I wondering do some sleeved tolerate Popeyes post op ..I'm drinking my Protein shake .. I told my family to resume with life I have to learn to deal some how my choice can't make everyone suffer plus my husband eats and never gains weight

I kno this off topic but I'm on stage 3 full liquids and purée I'm two weeks out I just wanted to no what did u eat at this stage I need ideas I haven't tried any puréed I'm afraid to

I took off 6 weeks but I'm two week out and feel like I can go back but the big think is in the beginning it's really a chore to get your liquids in and protein I don't think I could work and do that at the same time causes job is active ..you may feel weak some days this is a life style change that take patience I prefer to have my meals and routine worked out first hope this help some

That scares me I'm rt at two weeks ..sorry to heAr what you been going through what kinda warning signs did u get

I'm 2weeks out and it's normal to be scared and the truth is when you first days after the surgery it's not gone feel worth it ..it's tough but if you have your mind set on the goal you be fine I cried twice after the surgery once in the hospital and once four days out haven't cried since head hunger is a b!... But I decided that my family should hide eating from me I neede to deal with it .. I'm down 26 pounds I feel good about it

What foods that are soft that your eating I'm 15 days out and I need choices
