After being stalled for three week I lost 2 pounds this week sleeve 1/21/13 down 82 pounds

I agree some got mad at me for saying this exact thing .. I said some ppl got the sleeve to be healthy so there taking all steps to do so then u have those who are wanting to be skinny but still doing everything that's unhealthy to each it's on but they got mad at the truth

Yes it's normal if u go back on some of my post in the beginning I was depressed but one you loose all that weight u start feeling better you don't care about food anymore it's gone be alright hang in there .. I'm 4 months down 82 pounds and you can do it as well

My surgeon was just considering the facts he's a straight my the procedure kinda guy the best in Covington , la

I've of them doing both my dr refuse to do both ge consider it to be dirty surgery he felt that if I had a complication w the sleeve and my stomach was leaking it would get in the wound of my hernia repair but me I preferred to have it done at once and alot of ppl do have it there fine some ppl don't kno they have one and they wake up w it fix but I would tell my surgeon my concern if I was you to give him or her the heads up on what u want

I would ask my doc it was 3 months before I drunk wine and don't drink it often but I could only drink 1/2 or a 1/3 of a glass of wine I get buzzed so fast when the doc say its a good time to drink I would start with something lighter and at home to see how I feel but my advice to you is be more receptive to the opinions you get from this thread U started ppl are trying to help you making better choices and really it's up to you not everyone is going to agree w what your wanting to do and kno big deal rt because once u get off of here in my opinion from your responds to others your going to do what u want .. Okay so surgery was 1/21/13 so I'm 14 weeks out and I'm 32 pounds away from my goal and 45 pounds away from my nut goal HW 299 SW 299 CW 222 size 14 in pants 12 in dress and xL- L in tops I want to be 190 what y'all think

If you could get it fix get fixed I had a hernia before I had my sleeve three months out my hernia caused me to have bowel obstruction meaning my bowel couldn't come from the back so it came up I had to have emergency surgery because sometimes a hernia is your intestines twisted and it's possible it could cut off the blood flow I was scared cause the dr said if the blood is loss you will have to have a temporary boop bag until it heal then ill connect your intestine back caused the where gone have to cut off the dead part I had surgery April 19 and I'm doing well kno boop bag it was all good but if you have a hernia get it taking care of I don't wanna scare you I just wanna be honest

I had to respond to your post because I thought I was the only one looked at man vs food or food network to tackle my thoughts about food and it helps but I thought I was weird for doing it I'm happy I'm not alone Ive took on a new roll I like feeding ppl and watching them eat it brings me great satisfaction

I've been here before I didn't regret but I was very sad weeks out .. Try not to go to place like that in the beginning until u feel better your a week out rest and work on u ... I'm 4 months out down 82 pounds if you look back on most of ppls post we all felt this way most of use but once you start having more food choices and you lose so much weight ppl don't recognize you it's gone feel so good you won't care about food .. Oh don't take about shopping it's so much fun hang in there make the best of it cause u can't go back so try to think positive and be around positive supportive ppl

Yes .. It get better its worse in the morning .. Use the biotene mouth wash like I said earlier it will help .. That's the after affect of surgery the meds they give you to put u under

. Tell them the sameness that did this very thing to me is now supporting me I realize that ppl say things out if concern and fear it's just way must work to hide it .. Sharing has allowed me to show my happens full on about this choice I've made no one Q me like if I hide it ppl would be like how u losing and ect that just makes u lie and then lies start cause u can't stop from the first lie .. It's really much easier once you start doing good be will come around and the ones who don't hey if yo happiness doesn't make them happy well I will just move on .. Good luck to you

Yes! I'm the same way I met a lady in the nail shop and I told her about my weightloss and she's in the process now and almost finished I didn't even kno this woman and she didn't kno anything about the surgery I told her to join this support group to find out on her own and not just take in my success and she did .... So I applaud you for being honest it bothers me when ppl say oh I'm just dieting and working out yes true but we have a tool that other ppl don't have and false hope bothers me ... Keep up the good work

Some ppl don't want to stop and that's solely up to that person but to make excuses please ... We took control if our health and we can do it again
