I am going to Dr. Kelly in Mexico a week from Tuesday and his price is $5500.00, that includes everything except your airline tickets to and from San Diego. I had a hard time finding his current contact info do let me know if you want it.

I am so glad that I am not the only one having these thoughts. I leave for Mexico a wee from Tuesday. I literally will only allow myself think in about 30 min increments or I start to panic. We all know that this is the right thing and we have to believe we will be totally fine.

Make sure that you stop and walk a lot to prevent any blood clots. I don't know if it is true or not but I remember when my mother in law had her hip replacement that they told her to write the ABC's with her foot in the air as often as she could remember to prevent blood clots along with her compression stockings. I fly in on the 22nd , surgery on the 23rd and back out on the 27th. Hopefully we will all see each other. Did you start your pre op diet yet?

I am starting my pre op tomorrow. Until just a few minutes ago, I though I only had to do 7 days, just found out I had to do 14 days so no time to do the last meal bit. I am being done on the 23rd with Dr. Kelly. I think in this post alone that their are 3 of us being done within a day of each other. We need to work through this pre-op together however that needs to happen. We can do this!

I am scheduled for May 23rd with Dr. Kelly. I am sure we will see each other at least in passing. I would love to be sleeve buddies anyway since our timelines are very close. What were you planning for the pre op diet? I have his pre op diet but it seems a little different than what past Dr. Kelly patients have done. sherry

If you don't mind me asking, who did your surgery? The language barrier is a fear of mine.

I have seen two new products out recently and finally broke down today and bought one. Ensure has a flavored clear liquid out that is a protein drink and I just bought FRS liquid protein drink which is orange dream and has 26g of protein and 9g of fiber, it looks like gatorade. Maybe this type of product will work better for you to get your protein in? I will let you know how it is after I try it. They are not cheap though 10.00 for 4 of them.

Has anyone had surgery with Dr. Kelly since Trish is no longer working with him and since Omar is now his assistant? I have read so many great reviews about Trish and just wanted to know how things have changed since Omar has taken over. I am hopefully having surgery with Dr. Kelly in May.

I am planning on having surgery with Dr. Kelly in May and just wondered how many days I should plan? I am hoping to arrive in San Diego on a Thursday around 12:40 p.m.. Surgery probably on Friday and two nights in the hospital. How many nights at the hotel is enough?
