I just got off of the phone with my doctor's office. I am approved!! Surgery date could be within 30 days. I am happy but terrified now. All of the what if's going crazy in my mind. Is this normal???

I have Anthem BC as well. I was also told i didn't need the six month diet. I am going to a seminar that is required by the doctor and will find out all of the doctor's requirements then. Each doctor seems to have their own policy for requirements. Hope that helps some. Good luck!

There seems to be such a wide range of prices. I guess I will have to keep looking for another surgeon. I thought 20,000 would be plenty. But I am feeling like I am at the beginning again. I am disappointed but won't give up yet. -

Thanks for sharing. I am so confused though. My insurance covers up to 20,000. I spoke with my doctors office and was told I would have to pay 8000 out of pocket even though the surgery only cost 20,000. I guess i should call again to clarify because that doesn't add up to me. -
