My name is Mary. Been married to my husband Jim all my life. Well since I was 17. We have 3 children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
I had lapband surgery on Aug.6,2008. I did lose a little weight with it. I think all together I probably lost maybe 50 pounds total. I would lose and then gain. I will go from a band to sleeve revision on May 3, 2012. I am hoping this will work better and for once in my life I will be thin. I have been heavy for as long as I can remember. I have done all of the popular diets and would lose a few pounds and gain all of it back. I just pray to GOD that this surgery will finally give me the tool that I truly need to be able to be a normal weight. To be able to eat like a normal person : )
