Me too i haven't lost or gained. I get my first fill april 30th.

Have any march 19th bandsters had a fill? what's it like? I've been the same weight for 1.5 weeks. I wanna lose seems like everyone else is losing.

Do you know if your band is empty or not? I was told to start I have 3cc's filled. I also have a bit of motivation with my hubby he was banded 1.5 yrs ago, I've seen him get "stuck" and I'm scared of that so I'm being super cautious.

I had really moist/ mushy egg salad at lunch and runny mashed potatos approx. 1 cup. and for dinner I had creamed corn and egg salad. I guess about 1cup per meal and it's awesome to feel full. I'm not uncomfortable had no trouble.

So us march 19thers 9 days post op, is anybody started having discomfort between your belly button and the long incision?

Moussaka is very moist, it's usually ground beef, eggplant with a sauce. It's a greek casserole and anytime i've had it its moist but you probably wont be able to eat much. You can tell your friends your having too nice a time to eat too much.

I was banded on the 19th the gas pain i thought was gone but tonight its bad a very sore shoulder. My steri strips are sooooo itchy and irritating my skin real bad.

Are there still meetings at LGH?

I'm on my 3rd post op day and my belly is tight not painful but some discomfort. I haven't tried jello but pudding very slow has been fine. I'm guessing my belly is swollen and gassy and hope it goes away soon.

I was banded on the 19th today is my second post op day. Im pretty sore but my belly sure feels gross and bloated today.

I was just banded yesterday Mar 19 at cambie surg. centre, I am in North vancouver. Wow...I hope I'm 100 lbs successful or at least 80lbs.

I just had my band done yesterday March 19th with Dr. Woo thru SWLC but my bmi was 41. You could try looking into False Creek Surgical Centre I hear they have a good surgical weight loss program.

3more sleeps,going shopping today to stock up on juice,broth,jello im a bit nervous more disapointed that i will have my period during surgery.

You can get decent ones from Minogue Medical centre...you order them online they are called slim time. They are $21 per box with 7 servings in a box. They ship reall quick. They specialize in bariactric and weight loss products. They are in Montreal.

I started mine almost a week ago it's 3protein shakes a day plus 250cal of low glycemic veggies a day. Yes honestly im finding it hard. Yesterday i broke down and ate good food . Just keep focused you can do it .

I'm sorry you are going through this. My husband got the band a year ago and I was worried about it. I was worried about the procedure itself etc.. but I also admit I didn't know a lot I didn't go to the seminars with him. I was also worried emotionally that he would lose a lot of weight and then leave me..as we weren't married at that time although we had been in a 6 yr. relationship. It's a year later now and I will be getting it done in a 1.5 weeks. I see how happy and confident he is. His health has greatly improved also. I am tired of the many yo-yo diets and I am excited after seeing his transformation. He lost 70 lbs and I have become excited about this life changing procedure. Put yourself first and take care of yourself. Our health is so important. Good Luck.

I am getting banded March 19/12. In Vancouver, Canada. My husband was a year ago and has lost 70lbs. His success changed my mind about it and I'm tired of losing then gaining. This should be very life changing and I'm excited.
