Thanks Kat, I agree with you that the Protein shakes are the culprit. My stomache is calm until I drink my meal then the rumbling begins!! I'll check out those threads. Keep up the great work - I can't wait till my bmi is 30 or less

Hello everyone, I'm so glad I found this support site! I was banded on 2/15 and was wondering if anyone had problems during the liquid diet stage with diarrhea (sp?) Kind of a personal thing I know but I'm starting to get a little worried. I go back to work tomorrow and I'm thinking - hhhmmm....this is gonna be fun! Anyway - any advice is appreciated. :help: Other than that post-op is going well. Does anyone have any yummy ideas for liquids other than Protein shakes and sf popsicles? Thanks - Kim

Hi, I'm Kim and had my band done on 2/15 by Dr. Neal in Shelton WA. AWESOME surgeon - was considering the Mexico thing but I was too scared. Am actually glad I did it here in WA - I've talked with my doc twice now since the surgery and he's reassuring that things are as they should be. Go in for my first follow up on the 21st. Sure wish I could get rid of this gas - have done the walking, gas-x and peppermint tea. I guess it will work it's way out. Anyway - great to here from some other locals :mad:

Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found this support site. I was banded on 2/15 and boy does it hurt! If I could just get rid of this gas I think I would be more comfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks alot! :clap2:
