Wow...I wonder if it is more of a heAd hunger. Are you eating solid proteins, they should keep you full for longer, also have you tried little miss divas boot camp. I would talk to your therapist and nutritionist.

Wow congrats, that's hardcore. I'm not a strong swimmer so I could never do something like that.

Congrats... -
The 10k life time max is the maximum amount of coverage your insurance will pay for the life time of the policy. Some policies have calander year max and some have life time max. There is no way to appeal that it is a coverage issue it is not a denial, your insurance won't cover a cent more. I'm suprised that the facility even did it knowing that you had you have such limited coverage.

It's the 10k life time max. My insurance paid 32k for my procedure.

Yes, don't Compare yourself to others. You prob retained a lot of fluids from the iv's in the hospital. Consistancy is the key, make sure you keep hydrated, as hard as it may be also try to get your protein in. -

I love watching the food network. I say if he's not in pain he's prob fine as far as eating fast. Besides pudding and soup are pretty much slider foods so they go down easy. And as far as the water, I think the whole sip, sips, sip thing is for those who have much discomfort digesting fluids, but if he's able to tolerate gulping fluids that's fine, I never really had to sip. -

I would suggest trying to do my fitness pal now. It will help you as far as being accountable of what you eat. If you see the amount of calories your consuming you may not do the whole last supper thing as often. I personally feel the sooner you start the healthy transitions the better. I did have a 2 week low carb 1000 calorie diet preop, but even prior to that I really limited myself to how much food I would treat myself to. I suggest starting my fitness pal, start eating slow that is one of the hardest things to do, cut out the soda and juices. If you start these habits now you body will not mourn the loss of food, try to make it as much of a gradual process as possible. You do have a lot of time until your surgery, so try to get rid of a bad habit every 2-3 weeks. Best of luck. Remember you don't need a last super because you will eat again. I'm 2 months out and I can pretty much eat anything, jut small portions.

I Am Flat Out Hungry & It Sucks!
chitowngirl replied to forever29's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I personally eat every 3 hours so about 5-6 times a day. My calories are about 800 a day. It could also be that your on mushies, once I moved to solids I was able to eat foods that filled me up longer. I personally don't care for protein drinks, because the don't fill me up. So I choose to eat all of my protein.
