Question For The Ladies
chitowngirl replied to CJinMichigan's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hmmm.....I get the same pain in my abdominal area when running or jogging. I asked my doctor once long ago and she states that it is somewhat common, i want to say it has to do with breathing and decreased oxygen supply. Since u stated (if I'm not mistaken) that this occurs after walking for a long time I would think it is the similar thing. If you google abdominal pain when running, you will get the more scientific explanation. I hope this helps. -

Does Anyone Else Have Problems With Their Coworkers?
chitowngirl replied to tinkerbell19's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I didn't tell anyone at work. I am 4 months post op and 75 pounds down and it is very noticeable. I get a lot of compliments at work and I just say thank you. I really don't care what people at work think or say. It's really not any of their business and it is inappropriate for the. To be commenting on it. -
The Most Embarrassing Fat Moment....
chitowngirl replied to Sannah's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes I work at a hospital, don't worry it is quite common. As a matter of fact when patients call to make the appointments they are asked about their weight, if they weigh over (300??) lbs they are sent to an open MRI which is not so constricting. -
Congrats....

Wow...there are really some judgemental people here. The truth of the matter is that in most marriages women tend to carry the bulk of the responsibilities of domestic duties and child rearing. There are some wonderful men that will pitch in with out being told. However many men need to be told. Trust me I've had to lose it a few times (can we say psycho) before I got my point across. it's all about balance, little by little you and your husband will need to find a system that works. It doesn't happen overnight, but just keep working at it and hopefully he will compromise soon. Best of luck to you.

Just do it. Lol anxiety is normal part of the process. Embrace your emotions, but know in your head and heart that you are making the right decision.

I know nothing about muscle implants. I just want to compliment you on your picture. Muscular fits you well, I think with some hard work you will prob be able to accomplish your goals.
